SUGA Reveals The Special Day He Dedicates To j-hope

For ARMYs, there are many days in a year that are important to them and BTS. For example, the day BTS debuted, the day they released their first album or received their first Daesang award, the members' birthdays... But perhaps there is a day that some fans don't remember.

It is the day that SUGA is said to dedicate to j-hope and there have even been many important events that have taken place on this day over the years. If you are a loyal fan of the group, you cannot miss taking note of this important date.

Since becoming fans of BTS, ARMYs seem to have a lot of celebrations in a year, αssociated with many memorable milestones of the group and its members. Of course, those days become more special than other days and fans celebrate it all over SNS, even in real life.

But there is a day that many fans may not know that is called "j-hope's Day". It's August 16 every year!

In fact, it is not j-hope's birthday because he was born on February 18. This day originally became a very special day because it was designated by SUGA specifically for his younger brother. The anecdote about the birth of "j-hope's Day" originated many years ago and so many new fans seem unaware of it.

Specifically, SUGA once named this day “j-hope's Day” and there are special instructions that participants must follow. Written on the 2016 Season’s Greetings calendar and agenda book, he declared the events that take place on this special holiday. SUGA chose August 16th as the day he’ll wake up and shout j-hope’s name...: "Right as I open my eyes (from my sleep), I wake up as I yell ‘j-hope!".

Alongside, it's interesting that when SUGA released his first mixtape AGUST D, it was also released on "j-hope's Day". SUGA was actually very serious about the day he chose to dedicate to his younger brother. All fans also know how pαssionate SUGA is about calling out "j-hope" even on normal days.

In particular, this year, j-hope himself seems to be celebrating a bit on his day even though he enlisted in the army in April. He posted photos in m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴ uniform, which seems to be in order. was left home to return to the barracks after leave.
