Although it has been repeated many times, we still want to mention that the appearance of BTS at the White House is really a great event. Not only is it a discussion with the head of the White House, but it is also an honor for BTS to be liked by the president.

Recently, some ARMYs discovered an item that the president gave to BTS. This item has historical value and very special meaning.

Yesterday, President Joe Biden posted on his personal Twitter a 4-minute video summarizing the progress of the meeting with BTS at the White House. The video recorded the process of BTS visiting and talking with powerful American politicians.

BTS is also praised by senior officials for its positive influence on society. In addition, in a segment of the video, ARMY discovered that the US president had given the members a valuable gift.

In the photo below, cut from the video, you can see them holding what is known as a "challenge coin". Every president has his or her challenge coin, and so does President Joe Biden.

Challenge coins represent organizations, units, and teams. They can also represent an achievement, an anniversary, or a special event. They build close-knit, lasting bonds between people who receive them and represent unity. They have a long-standing tradition in military history. 

This coin is not an easy item to give to anyone, usually, they are only given to military/foreign leaders, etc. However, the president gave BTS members the coin.

It's a huge sign of the respect the president has for BTS. It is similar to the president inviting BTS to the Oval Office - the most solemn place - usually used to receive heads of state to talk to BTS.

This is truly a historic meeting for BTS. They have demonstrated how popularity and the value of popularity have a positive effect on society! Even politicians recognize their influence!
