In an interview, SUGA once made a sharp statement about BTS’s relationship when asked whether the members ever compete with each other over personal success: “Are you competitive with your family members? Do you get jealous if your brother or your sister does well? *Laugh* We’re real brothers, period. If I do well, that’s good. If my family members do well, that’s even better". 

Not only that, SUGA also pointed out that BTS have gone beyond the boundaries of ordinary friendship and are more like family: "If you live for 13 years in one house under the same roof 24/7, you become a family. A lot of people think that the relationships between K-pop band members are kind of fake, but that’s not true. For me, it’s more like, ‘Oh, Jimin, hi! You made it to the Hot 100, I’m so proud of you!'".

The deep and positive bond between the members over more than a decade together is undeniable. However, what’s interesting is that while they never feel jealous of each other’s achievements or careers, BTS have another kind of “jealousy”: They often openly express admiration for each other’s strengths, habits, or talents.

That includes Jungkook! Although he is the youngest and has the least life experience, there are many things about him that the older members admire. V is one of those who has openly confessed this in detail during an interview, and he was clearly proud when talking about the youngest member of the group.

Specifically, V admitted that he truly admired Jungkook’s talent and hard work. According to V, he likes the way Jungkook pushes himself to take on many things rather than focusing only on one sкιℓℓ.

"I really admire Jungkook because he tries to do so many things in various areas instead of doing things in profound level". V appreciates the way Jungkook is willing to try new activities to step out of his comfort zone and challenge himself. He continued: "The fact itself that he wants to do many things. I admire him".

For V, the most remarkable thing about Jungkook is that in any field, even when he just starts out, the youngest member always performs at a level above average. He said: "He is above average in all areas. Normally when people start to do soṃệẗḧing, they start at the beginning level but in case of Jungkook, he begins at an above average level in any area".

V also took the opportunity to list some of Jungkook’s talents: "For example, like drums. He already has a sense of rhythm, so he’s able to play them well. He does amazingly in beat-box, too. Composing, writing lyrics, singing, filming and so on. He’s the type of person who has outstanding basic talents". 

Finally, he wrapped up his praise by saying that Jungkook is extremely versatile. Though he is the youngest member of the group, Jungkook has already proven his outstanding abilities. This all-round talent makes Jungkook not only BTS’s “golden maknae,” but also a tremendous source of pride for fans worldwide.
