ALLDAY PROJECT Member Reveals the Special Thing Jimin Has Been Quietly Doing for Their Former School

ALLDAY PROJECT is currently one of the most notable rookie groups in K-pop. The five-member co-ed group under THEBLACKLABEL has received several rookie awards and achieved strong results on music charts both domestically and internationally. Among them, Tarzzan is one of the members who has attracted the most fans thanks to his dancing sкιℓℓs and free-spirited personality. Before becoming an idol, he was already known for his achievements in dance.

On the MBC program Point of Omniscient Interfere, which aired on the 3rd, fans got a glimpse of Tarzzan carrying out his first work schedule in his hometown of Busan. On that day, with about two hours left before he was due to attend a music awards ceremony, Tarzzan asked his manager, “Can I stop by the arts high school for a bit?” His manager also shared how much the idol cares about his alma mater, saying that Tarzzan always tells him that whenever he returns to Busan, he has to visit the school.

Notably, during the same program, Tarzzan revealed that he and BTS’ Jimin have a surprising connection: They attended the same school, Busan Arts High School, and were even in the same modern dance department!

Specifically, the idol said that Jimin is his senior and recalled a special gesture Jimin has made for his former school: “We were even in the same department. Whenever we had performances at school, he would send flower arrangements every year to congratulate us.”

Tarzzan went on to say that, unfortunately, he has never actually had the chance to meet Jimin, while expressing his hope: “If I ever get to meet him, I’d love to greet him properly and tell him which clαѕѕ/year I’m from.”

Tarzzan’s story about Jimin quickly spread across кσяєαn media and social media, with many people praising Jimin for his character: "if kindness was a person it would be Park Jimin", "He’s matured so well, has freed himself to become so much of who he always wanted to be. he deserves the entire world", "My angel Mimi, you’ll never be the bad person they so badly want you to be", "Education is where Jimin’s heart is", "Jimin always donates for education.. I have immense respect for you Park Jimin", "Our Jimin is such an angel. His generosity and kindness never fail to amaze me. I feel so blessed to be able to love such a precious soul",...

Meanwhile, over the years, Jimin has also been known for making significant financial contributions to his former school, with some of his support being kept so private that fans only learned about it much later.

For example, in 2019, Jimin donated 100 million won to the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, with around 30% of the donation allocated to Busan Arts High School. The money was used to support students and educational activities. In early 2020, he secretly sponsored new desks and chairs for all approximately 1,200 students at the school.

Since 2019, he is also said to have regularly contributed scholarships for his juniors, including a 30 million won scholarship donation made in 2023 through Green Umbrella. The support has been used for students in various departments, including dance, music, and fine arts, while also helping replace old facilities and purchase equipment for educational purposes. As of 2023, the total amount Jimin had reportedly contributed to the school had reached around 160 million won.

Some students who received the scholarships later sent letters of thanks to Jimin for his support. And it was not only Jimin who continued this positive influence, as his fans also donated 10 million won in scholarships to Busan Arts High School in his name.

Now, Tarzzan has once again highlighted Jimin’s generous heart, prompting fans to praise the K-pop superstar who, despite reaching the very top of his career, has never forgotten his roots. At the same time, ARMYs have also been charmed by Tarzzan’s personality and are looking forward to the moment he can finally meet Jimin in person — a reunion between two talented generations of Busan Arts High School students, which could very well happen at one of this year’s year-end award ceremonies.
