During the live broadcast last night (KST), Jungkook received a comment from fans complaining about this mix. This fan thinks that Seven Explicit ver is a ∂ιяту mix and makes Jungkook's image not as good as what fans still see about him.
Quickly after receiving this response, Jungkook sat down and frankly talked about the issue this fan was talking about. He insists that Explicit ver can't be seen as ∂ιяту, rather it's an authentic and clear rendition of who he is and that he wants to express his feelings.
Specifically, Jungkook began: "Why is that ∂ιяту? Why do you think that? Let's give me a reason...It's about being frank. The true version of his feelings, the truth...I know people would have different ideas on this matter. I had so much thought over this, which of the 2 version to release. Finally I decide to show both of them".
He continued: "And why? Even just Clean ver, people will still come up with different thoughts and also make it look like Explicit ver. I'm of age, I've worked for 10 years, and I'll be 28 next year. And I thought if I don't stage a new side of me, I won't be able to make a real challenge."
Finally, he concluded: "I released Explicit ver. I'm the maknae in the group, I know what my image is in everyone's eyes, I know why people love me. But what if I just default to those? So what? What else can I do?
I know I shouldn't try to change it but I should do soмєтнing to get myself recognized. If I just follow someone's wishes, will that make me and ARMYs happy? I want to do soмєтнing fun, new challenge...And I want to be recognized. I don't know if I'm scared or not. Yes, to be honest, I used have weak side. But it's you that made me to have more confidence".
Jungkook's answer left fans completely convinced and most of them said that they loved the way he frankly faced such critical comments.
