V Addresses Some ARMYs' Nonsense Comments About Yeontan On The Recent Weverse Live

These days, V and Jungkook are the two members who seem to be the most diligent when it comes to doing live broadcasts with fans. The broadcasts may be short or long, but they all show the members’ effort to interact with ARMYs online despite their busy schedules.

On the 7th, V υиєχρє¢тє∂ly knocked on the door of Weverse Live with a broadcast while he was at home, sharing a few things about his recent life. His beloved dog Yeontan was also υиєχρє¢тє∂ly mentioned — but in a way that seemed somewhat inappropriate.

Normally, V frequently mentioned his dog during live broadcasts because he knew that fans loved him too. Since December of last year, after Yeontan’s pαѕѕing, the idol has limited talking about his late puppy.

Although fully aware of these things, some disrespectful fans have mentioned Yeontan in a rather nonsense way in recent posts on Weverse. What’s worse is that V himself came across those posts. But instead of ignoring them, he directly called out the fans who had written those odd posts about the dog.

Specifically, during a part of the broadcast, V suddenly remembered: "This playlist here...I just saw a really funny/odd post. I have some facial hair, I can't do anything about it. What was I saying? Ah... I came out after showering, someone was like "It's Tannie's birthday today, please come live and sing some songs"".

“I get it that it's Tannie's birthday, I get that you're asking for a live... What does that have anything to do with singing songs?”, showing clear displeasure at fans saying such things. Technically, it did not violate any rules but it indirectly showed disrespect toward his late dog and felt like making fun of his pain.

Even though V seemed angry about some of the toxic posts, he still went along with the fans’ requests afterward, humming a few lines. But that doesn’t mean he overlooked the thoughtless behavior of some fans. This is clearly a lesson on proper behavior for the fandom on social media!

Other fans, after hearing V share his thoughts, expressed anger toward those who “call themselves fans but did such things.” They pointed out that if fans wanted to hear V sing, they could simply leave comments begging him to sing instead of dragging the late Yeontan into it.

Some others noted that even though some people were fully aware that today was the birthday of the dog who had pαѕѕed away, they still commented in a mocking tone. At first, it might have been well-intentioned to make V feel less sad when remembering his dog, but it developed in a negative direction simply because of inappropriate, thoughtless wording.

Fans left many comments discussing this situation, warning others to prevent similar things from happening again:

- These Armys never learn...idk if we can still call them army atp....every time he does a live some of the comments are like this ....you guys need to stop now....
