Fans have always held a special affection for the interactions between Jin and Jungkook, as they share a uniquely funny and endearing chemistry. Although Jin is the eldest and Jungkook the youngest, their mischievousness seems equally boundless. That’s why whenever the two are together, they always bring endless laughter and entertaining chaos.

Last November, Jin and Jungkook played a game together during a livestream. Despite having his account hacked, Jin still eagerly suggested joining and even prepared a backup plan so he could quickly get into the game with Jungkook, while the youngest immediately called him to coordinate how they would play together after Jin left a comment with a suggestion. Throughout the two-hour gaming session, fans couldn’t stop laughing at the hilarious moments of this “noisy” duo.

Another example comes from a clip taken from the recently released documentary BTS: The Return. Before Jin left the group’s creative camp in Los Angeles, he went over to Jungkook, hugged him while he was lying on the bed, and said he didn’t want to leave early. He even asked Jungkook to add his fingerprint or give him the pαѕѕword to the youngest’s villa, and offered the same for his own place—just so he could come over anytime.

Despite being so close, an interesting detail is that after Jungkook created a new Instagram account on July 15 last year, it took Jin three months to “finally” follow him, while all the other BTS members followed Jungkook immediately. Jin’s delay became a big question among fans, who wondered whether he simply didn’t know about Jungkook’s new account or was intentionally “ignoring” him to tease the Golden Maknae.

During the April 1 livestream celebrating the Billboard No.1 achievement of the album ARIRANG and its title track Swim, Jin brought up this story and directly explained his reason while the members were discussing Instagram. He said, “I don't use IG much, so I'm not sure. I got scolded that I'm not following Jungkook.” Then j-hope described the members’ reaction at the time: “We've been saying things like WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITHOUT FOLLOWING HIM,” and Jin emphasized once again, “I didn't even know he had an Insta ID.”

At that point, fans finally realized that Jin truly didn’t know Jungkook had returned to Instagram after years of deleting his account. At the time, Jin was likely busy with his solo tour and not keeping up with Instagram, which led to him мιѕѕιиg the news that Jungkook had created a new account. Fans also found it amusing that the other members reacted so strongly upon realizing that the group’s eldest was the only one not following the youngest.
