From their trainee days until around seven years after debut, the BTS members lived together in the company dormitory. At first, it was a dorm located in the basement of BigHit’s old building, which was described as cramped and damp, with bunk beds and no hot water during the winter. As BTS became more successful, their dorm was also upgraded to luxury apartments.
Around 2020, the members began moving out to live on their own, and according to revelations, Jungkook and Jimin were the last to leave the group dorm. Over a decade in the industry, with their global fame and income from albums, tours, endorsement deals, and individual projects, the members have been more than capable of owning their own real estate. Most of them chose apartments in the most upscale residential areas in central Seoul, while Jungkook recently moved into a villa with a garden.

A home is not just a place to rest but also reflects each member’s lifestyle and aesthetic taste, which naturally sparks curiosity among fans and netizens. Fortunately, the BTS members have been fairly open about showing parts of their living spaces through live broadcasts, photos, and documentaries. Thanks to that, fans have gained insights into their interior preferences and engaged in lively discussions about the idols’ personal styles.
One of the homes that fans have been able to see most clearly is RM’s $4 million apartment at Nine One Hannam. From the videos and images shared by the BTS leader, the living room features a minimalist wнιтe color scheme, while the bedroom follows a wнιтe-and-gray palette. Even after renovations, RM kept the same tone, showing his preference for this refined atmosphere.
Another notable detail is that the space is decorated with brown and wнιтe furniture, along with numerous paintings and artworks on the walls. Some areas are also filled with bookshelves packed with books or stacks of documents currently being read. The apartment looks like a miniature museum, perfectly reflecting his academic and artistic interests.

In contrast to RM, Jin is very private about sharing his living space, and fans have only heard about it through other BTS members and his frequent visitor, TXT’s Beomgyu. According to other BTS members, his spacious apartment resembles a “newlywed couple’s home.” Meanwhile, Beomgyu said Jin’s house feels cozy and so comfortable that he often visits whenever he has no schedule.
From these accounts, fans imagine it is likely decorated with bright and cheerful colors, creating a warm and sweet impression. Meanwhile, a photo once shared by Jin’s sister-in-law on Instagram—when her and his brother visited Jin for dinner and received gifts from him—also partially confirmed fans’ αѕѕumptions, showing a beige-and-wнιтe color scheme illuminated by a glamorous crystal chandelier.

Similarly, SUGA rarely discusses his luxury apartment in Hannam-dong. Although he has never publicly revealed details about his personal residence, he has shown fans another private space—his “Genius Lab” studio. Therefore, it is easy to imagine that if his home follows a similar style, he likely prefers to keep distance from visitors—at least the “Keep Off” rug and the “Go Away” doormat seem to suggest so.

Next, BTS’s “real estate mogul,” who owns three luxury apartments—j-hope—has been a bit more open than Jin and SUGA. In some photos he shared, fans were delighted to see his home filled with hypebeast-style items such as KAWS, Supreme, Bearbricks, and more, reflecting the cheerful and energetic personality of the homeowner.

Like j-hope, V also enjoys decorating his penthouse at SK Apelbaum Flat with plush toys and interesting decorative items. He pays special attention to lighting, prioritizing sunlight streaming through glαѕѕ walls and reflecting off wнιтe-painted walls. The most prominent decorations in his home are various types of lamps in different designs.
In addition, the black marble dining table and large sofa in his home are particularly impressive. He also likes collecting artworks and growing plants, creating a warm atmosphere. These elements blend clαѕѕical and modern styles, perfectly reflecting his inherent artistic spirit and aesthetic.

Meanwhile, V’s same-age friend Jimin seems to prefer an even more minimalist style. The highlight of his apartment is a large, elegant sofa in gray and cream tones. These two colors, combined with black, appear to dominate the apartment’s color palette. He does not place many decorations in his home, but he received two Bearbrick Jack Skellington figures as gifts from j-hope, and he also has an area for workout equipment similar to V.

Finally, Jungkook has shared images of the interior of his Itaewon villa, completed in December 2024, through multiple live broadcasts, coinciding with a short leave during his military service. Once again, what stood out was that the house is almost “devoid of natural light” and dominated by black and gray tones—similar to the décor of his previous luxury apartments.
In addition, Jungkook still maintains the habit of filling his refrigerator with beer and alcohol. However, the villa’s spacious layout allows him to set up functional rooms such as an entertainment room for watching movies and singing karaoke, and a computer room where he can play games and livestream with fans. This reflects his emphasis on a living space focused on relaxation and entertainment.

Overall, half of the members surprised fans with the relatively simple décor of their homes, considering their superstar status. But when fans consider that the furniture prices are far from simple—most items are high-end, and some are even limited editions—they can’t help but remark that this is truly “quiet luxury.”
