BTS will hold their world tour ‘ARIRANG IN LOS ANGELES’ at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 1–2 and 5–6 (local time). To celebrate the event, the City of Los Angeles has officially declared September 1 through 8 as “BTS Week,” while also lighting up the exterior of City Hall in red — the main color featured in BTS’s fifth studio album “ARIRANG.” This serves as a symbol of unity and hospitality for BTS and the large number of fans from around the world coming to LA.
Returning to SoFi Stadium 4 years and 9 months after their ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ concert in December 2021, all four of BTS’s shows this time sold out very quickly. Notably, BigHit Music has also provided a special privilege for this venue: organizing a live viewing party on Weverse so fans around the world can watch the concert online as well. This is one of the few cities where BigHit Music has offered this format. Even more excitingly, the first show falls on Jungkook’s birthday, making the concert even more highly anticipated.

Ahead of the show, it wasn’t just the fans who were excited—the BTS members were as well. They even υиєχρє¢тє∂ly “crashed” the chat room of the LA concert’s livestream on Weverse to show their excitement and chat with fans for a bit before taking the stage.
At that time, there were only about 25 minutes left until showtime, and the members kept leaving short messages that were enough to instantly liven up the chat room. At first, the idols expressed that they couldn’t wait any longer to meet the au∂ιєnce, while also making sure to send birthday wishes to maknae Jungkook, whose birthday fell on the opening day of the Los Angeles concert.
The moment the members appeared and interacted directly in the chat room left fans who were waiting for the livestream both surprised and excited.

Another detail that had ARMYs giggling was the members’ little “self-introduction” moment. Jimin appeared first and greeted the fans, followed by V, who left a similar greeting written in romanized кσяєαn. These brief but natural interactions made it feel as though the members were actually sitting there with ARMYs and waiting for the concert to begin together.

But they didn’t stop there. The members also made the conversation even more amusing by bringing up the idea of a “second home” and taking turns naming various cities where they had held concerts over the past decade, from LA, Chicago, мєχι¢σ, to вяαzιℓ. Every time a city was mentioned, local fans couldn’t help but burst with pride and happiness, knowing that they had left such a strong impression on the idols.

It was just some casual chatting before showtime, but the υиєχρє¢тє∂ conversation quickly became one of the moments that had ARMYs buzzing on social media, including:
- “HB JK our maknae” whoever typed that, this is so cute and sweet. Good luck today boys
- BTS calling every city their second home And then HOME proceeds to play today???
- I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE I WANT THEMM ALL TO KISS JUNGKOOK
- The way the members remembered Jungkook’s birthday before the concert is so precious. He’s truly loved
- Seeing all the members wish their maknae a happy birthday made my heart so full. Happy birthday, Jungkook!
- LA, Chicago, мєχι¢σ, вяαzιℓ… BTS has truly made the whole world their home
- Hearing my city mentioned by BTS as a second home would have sent me into orbit. I’m screaming!
- No matter how much time pαѕѕes, Jungkook will always be BTS’s beloved maknae. This was so sweet
- LA, you’ve been called out, so you know what you have to do, right? Let’s light up SoFi every single night, guys!
- They wished Jungkook a happy birthday and then called LA their second home—my heart can’t handle this
