Well, we all know that V recently held a fanmeeting for ARMYs as part of promoting his solo album. Since the party is for all fans, of course everyone is welcome equally, whether they are fans of anyone or all BTS members.

However, an incident caused great controversy in the fan community after a fansite said to specialize in taking photos of Jimin posted photos of Jimin next to V, but this person intentionally cut V out of the photo. image. First of all, many fans wonder about the term "fansite". If you don't know, fansite is a term that refers to a website, Twitter account or fanpage established by one or more individuals. These SNS accounts often post exclusive images of idols taken by people called master-nim.

The Master is the person who always follows the artists' schedules for filming and taking photos. It usually includes the idol's official schedules such as concerts, promotional events, fan meetings, fansigns, etc. but sometimes also includes unofficial schedules such as at the airport. A fansite can be for one idol or a few idols that the master favors more.

This is the starting point for the recent controversy. Specifically, on October 14, V held his first solo fanmeeting, (V)ICNIC, at Kyunghee University's Peace Theater. More than 1,000 lucky ARMYs had the opportunity to participate and enjoy the performances and exciting entertainment activities that V had prepared for them.

The event should have ended perfectly and fans would have been able to see photos or videos capturing V's beautiful moments at the event. But things started to get complicated after ARMYs discovered a fansite account that supposedly supported Jimin posted photos of him appearing at V's event.

It's worth mentioning that while V excitedly welcomed Jimin at his fanmeeting and the two had many lovely interactions during the process, the master of this fansite intentionally removed V's image from the photos. This person took photos with V's face hidden or even cut half of him out of the photo even though it originally included Jimin and V.

After the photos were posted, ARMYs were disappointed that a cute photo of two BTS members was edited to remove one, and many felt it was disrespectful, especially since they were in attendance. Therefore, ARMY called on the fansite to cut V out of the photo.

Some people pointed out that this master-nim acted as if he were an akgae fan (the type of fan who only loves Jimin but not all members of BTS). But they also wondered how they knew in advance that Jimin would attend V's event to buy the album in advance to get tickets to attend the fanmeeting. This raises concerns about event information or Jimin or V's schedule being revealed in advance.
