Before CORTIS debuted, BTS and TXT were the only two groups managed by BigHit Music, which is why BTS devoted their full attention and wholehearted support to their juniors. Fans surely still remember the well-known anecdote that even before TXT officially debuted, Jin introduced the group during an acceptance speech at a year-end award ceremony and asked fans to show them lots of support.

In return, the members of TXT have always expressed deep gratitude for the support of their seniors and shown boundless admiration for them as genuine fans. Among them, Beomgyu stands out as a particularly devoted fan of Jin. Fans have noticed that in nearly every live broadcast where Jin’s name comes up, Beomgyu immediately starts talking nonstop about “Worldwide Handsome.”

He has repeatedly mentioned how Jin has taken care of him and the TXT members ever since their trainee days and even years after their debut. Jin often treats them to meals and has even invited them over to his home. Beomgyu never stops praising the kindness of BTS’s eldest member and recently shared that he is a frequent guest at Jin’s house whenever he has time off.

During a live broadcast on January 22, Beomgyu told fans: “Whenever I have a day off, I go to Seokjin hyung’s home, eat a meal, play MapleStory, and then fall asleep. It’s fun… I think it’s even more fun because the person I’m with is Seokjin hyung. These days, I don’t play any other games. I only play MapleStory.”

In particular, while playing Yours, Jin’s OST for Jirisan—which also happens to be Beomgyu’s favorite song—he revealed to fans how he likes to “tease” Worldwide Handsome. He shared: “Most singers don’t like it when you play their own songs in front of them. But I go to Seokjin hyung and deliberately play this song every time. Watching his reaction is fun.”

Beomgyu’s revelation surprised fans, as it showed just how much closer the two have become. In previous years, Beomgyu had only gone out for barbecue with Jin together with the other TXT members, but now their relationship has reached the point where Beomgyu regularly visits Jin’s house, plays games, stays over, and even teases him. For Beomgyu to be able to do all this means that Jin truly regards him as a younger brother in the family.

On the other hand, fans also discovered a charming side of Jin and Beomgyu’s playful mischief. Jin is usually described as someone who is very confident in himself, enjoys being praised, and does not shy away from compliments. However, it turns out that there are moments when he becomes shy—such as when someone plays his own song right in front of him. Fans couldn’t help but imagine Jin feeling flustered and helpless in the face of his junior Beomgyu’s playful teasing.

Aside from this recent instance, Beomgyu has revealed at least two other occasions when he visited Jin’s house. One was right after returning from the U.S. leg of ACT : TOMORROW, when Beomgyu wrote a message to fans on Weverse saying: “Ah, did I say this? When I came to кσяєα, on the first day I went to Seokjin hyung’s place. Even then, because I had indigestion, Seokjin hyung pricked my hand for me? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. Everyone is pricking my hand", demonstrating how close the two are.

In addition to being treated by Jin, Beomgyu also revealed that Jin helped him clear a particularly difficult stage in their shared favorite game, MapleStory. Recalling another visit to Jin’s house, he said: “I took 2 days off. And I went to Seokjin-hyung’s house to hang out?? But these days I’ve been playing MapleStory, and there was a boss that I seriously just could not beat at all. Seokjin-hyung really beat it right away with my character. I seriously clapped endlessly. And then after getting special lessons, I ended up beating it myself. Hehe.”

As Beomgyu shared this series of moments where he was constantly “attached” to Jin, many fans jokingly wondered whether he had practically moved in with him, since he seems to be at Jin’s house whenever he has free time. Jokes aside, fans were genuinely delighted to hear about these everyday moments of Jin’s life. Fans commented:
