As all fans know, the last 4 members of BTS enlisted in the army in mid-December. With the four members having just enlisted in the army, it's not unusual for their Instagram accounts to be abandoned these days.
However, there is an Instagram account that is actually still active, leaving many fans confused. While its owner was performing m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service in the barracks, this account still posted a photo of him showing that someone was running it.
There are many theories put forward, but there is only one explanation that makes fans confident it is true:
These days, fans are clearly m̾i̾s̾s̾i̾n̾g notifications from BTS members' accounts on Instagram. For Jin, j-hope or SUGA, those who have enlisted before, they are still allowed to post photos on their days off and content that does not violate m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ regulations.
Meanwhile, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook were completely prohibited from using social networks during the 5 weeks of basic training and therefore their Instagram accounts did not have any new updates. Fans naturally also grasped this information and felt more thirsty for news about the group's members than ever.
However, recently, another account of RM on Instagram showed signs of activity even when its owner was in the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷. Specifically, a few hours ago, an account named "rpwprpwprpwp" posted a photo of RM with one of his friends. This Instagram account is known as RM's non-official-account and was created before he joined the army.
It's worth noting that RM actually enlisted in the army and couldn't have been the one to upload that photo at this time. ARMYs felt confused when they didn't know who ran this account and posted a photo without a caption. And the discussion quickly became heated in the fandom.
Some people pointed out that RM may have planned to use this account to promote his new project, involving his friends. He may have taken the photos and scheduled them to be posted on this account. That's why the photo was posted even when RM was absent.
Meanwhile, some people believe that this account may be temporarily controlled by HYBE staff - who are promoting his upcoming project after he enlists. But there is an opinion that ARMYs seem to find most reasonable and touching regarding the question of who is running RM's account at this time.
One ARMY mentioned: "He made a new non official account, confirmed it was him, then gave the pa̾s̾sword to his friend and said babysit my emotionally insecure b̾i̾t̾c̾h ̾es while I'm away. If that ain't love" and fans cannot deny that this hypothesis sounds the most reasonable. It's possible that RM has been preparing a project with his close friends as there are many photos revealing that opportunity. And his friend was a perfect fit to use the account in place of RM while he was in the army and doing the final promotions for the group's project.
