1. Sky Castle
Not only SUGA but also RM and some other members of the group also watched Sky Castle. Sky Castle is a 2018-2019 K-Drama drama about ambitious, elite parents who will do anything to ensure their children's success and their family's society status to a new level.
2. Legal High
During an interview in Japan, Suga was asked which J-Dramas he likes. One of them is Legal High, a comedy about a courtroom that aired in 2012. It tells the story of a veteran lawyer who refuses to give up and a new lawyer who fights for justice.
3. Slam Dunk
Suga and Jungkook both recommend Slam Dunk, a legendary sports manga and anime series, to any guy. Slam Dunk is about a hot-tempered teenager whose strong personality gets in the way of his dating life. He's not a basketball fan, but his crush is. So, what does he do? He's on the basketball team, of course!
4. Nodame Cantabile
Suga and V introduced Nodame Cantabile, the perfect anime for music lovers. This rom-com is about a bubbly musical genius, a serious pianist and their romance.
5. Hanzawa Naoki
In an interview for a Japanese magazine, Suga called Hanzawa Naoki one of his favorite J-Dramas at the time. The film is about a banker who overcomes numerous obstacles as he rises through the ranks at Tokyo Chuo Bank. Season 1 aired in 2013 and Season 2 was released in 2020.
6. Tazza: The High Rollers
In a 2018 interview with Billboard, Suga called it his all-time favorite movie. This 2006 film, based on the manhwa of the same name, is about a group of gamblers. Soon after its release, it became one of the highest-grossing Korean films of all time.
