SUGA Mentions About How He Fights With His Dad At Least Once A Month

Like other children, BTS members have always been precious children to their parents. Meanwhile, ARMYs are looking forward to hearing stories about BTS living with their parents because it is rarely revealed.

Recently, two members of the group, SUGA, and Jimin, appeared in the latest episode of the YouTube show Just An Excuse hosted by Yoo Jae Suk. Thanks to that, through the program, they had the opportunity to tell more about their life with their parents as well as how they interact with their family.

In particular, an interesting story between SUGA and his father was revealed. It's curious how someone like SUGA with a calm personality has a habit of arguing with his dad at least once a month. Take a close look at the situation he shared below:

This April, ARMYs seemed to be filled with happiness as they watched both Jimin and SUGA promote their new album. Because they both released solo albums at the same time, the two had the opportunity to participate in variety shows together as a way to promote.

One of the rare shows where SUGA and Jimin appear together is Just An Excuse. The two idols appeared together at the filming site along with a number of other guest comedians. Here, they shared interesting stories about their past and present personal lives.

Just An Excuse is a light-hearted variety show in which au∂ιєnces can watch candid versions of their favorite stars as the host has a friendly chat with them. When SUGA and Jimin arrived at the recording place, Yoo Jae Suk already had other guests arrived. Among them, comedian Hong Jin Kyung had to leave earlier because of her schedule, but Ji Seok Jin and Jo Se Ho stayed.

The conversation started with the MC asking Jimin how he spends his time these days. He replied that he mostly spends his day on the sofa, watching YouTube and eating ramen.

Meanwhile, SUGA seems to have gotten along very comfortably with the other guests on the show. However, Jimin admits that it may take him a while to get over his anxiety. After that, thanks to the MC's reme∂ιєs and SUGA's support by his side, he quickly settled in and felt more comfortable.

In the next part of the conversation, Yoo Jae Suk asked the two statues an interesting question about their family life. The question is whether their family behaves differently after they succeed.

Jimin replies that now his dad seems more careful with him. He said, “In the past, he would nag me about things…now he just goes ‘hm’ and goes into his room". Yoo Jae Suk then joked that he completely understands Jimin's dad.

Besides, when asked Jimin about his mother, Jimin shared that she rarely gets upset with him about anything because their personalities are so similar. He said that: "My mother is rarely ever upset with me..."

On the other hand, SUGA shared a story that surprised everyone after saying that his family hasn't changed, which is the habit of arguing with his father at least once a month. In fact, he humorously revealed that: "For us, nothing changed. Everything is the same as before. Actually, I think I ḟïġḧẗ with my father once a month..."

When the MC asked them what they often quarrel about, SUGA replied that because both of them have harsh tones when they speak, they end up arguing but always make up afterwards. He confided: "I have a hard way of talking and my father does too so we're like this and then we make up at dinner..."

Not only that, another reason why SUGA's dad nags about him is the fact that he maintains a disordered and unhealthy eating habit. Suga shared that his dad always tells him not to skip meals, but he tends to be hungry only at dinner and so he often skips other meals and only eats snacks late at night.

Specifically, SUGA said: "Somєthing my father says a lot is, "Eat more." My father thinks meals are very important, but I don't eat breakfast or lunch...Counting late-night snacks, I have 2 meals a day. I'm not hungry that part of the day. But my father's point of view is, "Don't work without eating! It's bad for your health."

Similar to SUGA's case, Jimin also agrees that he has the same experience where his family gets worried whenever he goes on a ∂ιєt and asks him not to overdo it.

Although it's quite surprising that SUGA won't argue with anyone, it seems that arguing with his dad is a habit. Fortunately, they got into f1ght when giving their own opinion on somєthing but after that, they often make up or even quarrels happen just because his father takes care of his son.

The story shared by SUGA made many people laugh but also sympathize:

- Sometimes I wonder how he functions without eating breakfast and lunch, If I did I will be admitted to the hospital lol and then with the amount of hard work he does, I guess his father is right !!

- He's right Yoonie u hv had enough visits to hospitals

- When my son is at home, i would stuff him with so much food to compensate for all those days he's not at home and not mindful of eating.

- I think this is pretty common in most asian household. Atleast one of the parents would be like this

- My metabolism is super fast so I get headaches if I dont eat enough and at the right times, I cant function without eating at least three meals plus snacks

- You absolutely CANNOT skip a meal in an Asian household. I decided to eat my lunch little later tonight... 5 TIMES my grandma came to ask me have I eaten yet ??

- It's a normal parent behavior. Yoongi will understand if he will have a child someday

- This exactly right, add water and sleep to the list. We ḟïġḧẗ like great enemies

- But that's also his dad's way of saying he worries and cares w/out having to say it out loud. Lol

- This is one the most common ḟïġḧẗs in my house. I eat like small meals that fill me up. I am with Yoongi.
