With tens of billions of dollars in global box office revenue and a fan base spanning the world, Marvel has long established itself as one of the most influential entertainment franchises on the planet. Beyond creating iconic superheroes, the cinematic universe has repeatedly collaborated with renowned artists and producers to produce movie soundtracks that have gained worldwide popularity.
Meanwhile, BTS has also built numerous connections with the film industry, with several of the group's songs appearing in major international movie projects, including "Dynamite" in Despicable Me 4, "Not Today" in Sing 2, and "MIC Drop (feat. Desiigner) [Steve Aoki Remix]" in The Mitchells vs. the Machines. The group even has a direct connection to Marvel, as "Friends" by Jimin and V was officially confirmed as part of the soundtrack for Marvel's Eternals (2021).
However, when it comes to a direct collaboration between RM and Marvel, many fans are almost completely unaware of the story. And what do his legendary stage names—Runch Randa or Rap Monster—have to do with it?

Recently, RM's iconic former stage name Rap Monster has υиєχρє¢тє∂ly resurfaced among fans nearly a decade after he officially changed it to RM on November 13, 2017. The reason is that some fans recently rediscovered his collaboration with Marvel from more than ten years ago.
Few people know that in 2015, while he was still promoting under the name Rap Monster, RM participated in writing and performing "Fantastic" for Marvel's Fantastic Four. He teamed up with αмєяι¢αn singer Mandy Ventrice to release the digital single in conjunction with the film's кσяєαn premiere on August 4, 2015. The song was also included in the movie's soundtrack.
In the music video, RM appears dressed in black with his signature sunglαѕѕes, rapping in both English and кσяєαn while delivering an energetic performance. A decade later, the video uploaded to the 1theK YouTube channel has accumulated approximately 8.1 million views and nearly 500,000 likes.
However, what intrigues many fans even more is how RM and Marvel came to work together on a movie soundtrack project back then?
At the same time, many fans are well aware that RM has long been a devoted Marvel enthusiast like countless other fans of the franchise. In one episode of Run BTS, the production staff played the "Avengers Assemble" theme and asked the members to identify the movie. After thinking for just a few seconds, RM quickly answered "Avengers: Endgame," and his response was confirmed to be correct, demonstrating his familiarity with the superhero franchise.
Looking back at Rap Monster's performance of "Fantastic," many fans expressed both surprise and admiration. Others also voiced their hope that RM—or even BTS as a whole—will collaborate with Marvel again in the future. The comments included:
