The trouble between Min Hee Jin and HYBE is not over yet and even affected V when the former CEO of ADOR dragged him into the situation. A revelation by Min Hee Jin last month made V suspected of having been in contact with her during his military service.

However, the Ministry of National Defense itself recently confirmed the matter and of course, Min Hee Jin was the liar. Fans reacted strongly, claiming that the former CEO took advantage of his fame and brought trouble to V.

Recently, a post titled 'Regarding the Petition Response on BTS V and Min Hee Jin’s Text Message' was posted on an online community. The post contains the Ministry of National Defense’s response to the complaint regarding V’s cell phone privileges.

According to the article posted by civil plaintiff A, the Ministry of National Defense replied: “It has been confirmed that recruits in training are allowed to use their mobile phones for one hour per day during designated rest periods, such as weekends and public holidays". Meanwhile, "According to the training center’s guidelines, Kim Taehyung did not use his mobile phone during early morning hours but instead used it during the afternoon, which is the permitted time slot for mobile phone usage."

Ministry of National Defense continued, “It has been confirmed that there is no evidence or facts supporting claims that Kim Taehyung received special permission to use his mobile phone outside the designated time slots or was granted privileges due to his celebrity status". And "As for the specifics of Kim Taehyung’s call or text records, we cannot disclose this information due to the Personal Information Protection Act (Article 3) and the Telecommunications Privacy Act (Article 3)". 

This suspicion began with a complaint from a netizen after watching Min Hee Jin’s interview. Former CEO Min appeared on 'Kim Young-dae's School of Music' on the 29th of last month and said, “V sometimes calls from the military. It’s to the point where I wonder, ‘Is he really in the military?’ He’s doing so well there, and he’s always been such a bright kid. We talk informally with each other. He’s genuinely so bright and playful. Even though I’m going through difficult times, he still says things like, ‘You’re okay, right?’ with such innocence. He also mentioned he felt a bit unsure about when to reach out. And he even texted me at dawn on my birthday".

Since then, this netizen has speculated that V may have used his cell phone as a 'celebrity privilege' during his military training. V enlisted in the military training center on December 11 last year, and former CEO Min's birthday is December 16. As what former CEO Min mentioned, V sent a message early in the morning as a 5-day trainee after his enlistment. That's why this netizen filed a complaint against him.

However, in the statement responding to the above accusation, the suspicion was completely resolved and the credibility of the Ministry of National Defense. It is clear that Min Hee Jin lied about V's texting story because he was not allowed to use a cell phone at all at that time. The Ministry of National Defense also concluded that "Recruits are allowed to use their mobile phones during designated times at the training center. There is no factual evidence that Kim Taehyung sent a text message to Min Hee Jin at dawn."
