Jungkook Responds To Nasty Comments On His Recent Live Broadcast

On the morning of June 5 (KST), Jungkook suddenly broke into Weverse Live and had a chat with fans. ARMYs were excited to see Jungkook a few weeks after he last appeared on a live broadcast.

Every time Jungkook appears, most of the ARMYs leave enthusiastic supportive comments and words of love for him. But lately, there are some malicious individuals who always appear on live broadcasts and leave impolite comments like asking him to cut his hair, speak English or mention weird things. And Jungkook is aware of this!

Even during today's live broadcast, he noticed them and couldn't ignore them. He also raised some bad comments and gave feedback on them. Meanwhile, genuine fans feel very apologetic towards Jungkook for the actions of some malicious individuals:

ARMY is known to be one of the biggest and most enthusiastic fan communities for idols. However, in fact, like many other fan communities, there are still toxic individuals in the ARMY fandom, and that greatly affects the members as well as other real ARMYs.

In particular, recently, the problem of interaction between fans and members during live broadcasts has become alarming when many BTS members are disturbed by them. The comments were so negative that the members had to ask the fans to stop commenting on such oddities during the next broadcasts.

Although this improved after some fans criticized those who did it and instructed other fans to write positive comments, the situation continues. In the most recent broadcast this morning, Jungkook also experienced this feeling of unhappiness and he once again had to speak up for them.

Specifically, while chatting with his fans, Jungkook discovered some comments asking him to speak English instead of ḳöŕệän. This is not a request that is hard to see in recent days on all the members' live broadcasts. SUGA, RM, or V have all encountered similar comments and their reactions are all uncomfortable to such impolite requests.

Meanwhile, Jungkook slowly explained even though he didn't need to. He began: "I'm trying to understand what you're saying. I'm sorry~ I'm korean so I'm best at our language, ḳöŕệän! So this is the only way I can communicate. Because there are translations and stuff these days. It'll show up later on so I'm sorry~ but I'm thankful for those who are translating and listening. I want to but... I'm 27 and I should've when I was younger...It's not too late but just wait a little! I'm trying too~"

Not only that, he added: "I think I would've been like that too. If the person I like speaks another language, it would be a bit frustrating but just wait a little because I'm trying! let's go slowly~".

Not stopping there, there are some other comments like "I won't breathe until you read my comment" or "Who's behind you" also to be nonsense comments during Jungkook's live broadcast that made him ask fans to stop making such comments. V has even stated that some fans do it on purpose over the years and it's really boring.

On the last broadcast, Jungkook received some of the same bad comments and even had to turn off the comments section on his Weverse Live at one point. For example, after returning from Coachella in the US, a few malicious commenters asked him to cut his hair short and suggested that his current hairstyle is weird.

Although it was an impolite request, in response, he politely rejected the idea and said he would do it when he was satisfied with the length of his hair. Jungkook said: "Cut my hair? When the time comes, I'll cut it.. let me grow it until then".

Another time, Jungkook frankly said that he turned off the fan comments and that the others had to agree with the reason he gave. The reason is: "When I want to hear all of your words and comfort, I technically need to look at your comments, but why does it feel comforting to not look at it at all? To be honest there's not much that I'm looking for? I just feel comfortable because it feels like we're connected together like this. Thank you!". Meanwhile, others think it's the best way for Jungkook not to be bothered by negative comments or inappropriate fans.

Fandom is a beautiful culture only when fans know where their limits are and show their love to the celebrity in the right way. It will become ugly and condemnable when fans act negatively, even to the point of fanaticism, and make others uncomfortable or ȟɥȑț. Jungkook's story once again warns fans to reconsider how they are treating their idols.
