In K-pop culture, the concept of a “fansite” is nothing unfamiliar to fans. These are individuals or groups of fans who follow idols around public events to take photos and film videos of them. There are both positive and negative aspects αѕѕociated with this culture, but in reality, quite a few fansites are even remembered by the idols themselves because of their long-term support and respectful behavior.

For example, V has a favorite fansite called Nuna V — the person behind some of the idol’s most iconic photos. He has also given her many opportunities to capture direct eye-contact moments with the camera that drove the ARMY fandom crazy. V even personally addressed this fansite during a livestream, saying: “Thanks for watching me today and thanks for taking such pretty pics too. Keep watching me — no wait, keep snapping me. Make me look cute, okay?”

But that is because this fansite has always respected him, behaved appropriately, and sincerely supported him. In the case of Jungkook and a longtime fansite below, however, things appear to be very different!

Following the 2026 αмєяι¢αn Music Awards (AMAs), a video began spreading across social media showing what many perceived to be Jungkook looking visibly uncomfortable while standing on stage receiving an award. He glanced toward the camera lens but quickly looked away, puffing his tongue against the inside of his cheeks in a way that clearly suggested discomfort. Afterwards, he was also seen occasionally looking toward the camera before turning away again, as if trying to show that he did not feel comfortable with the lens on him or was avoiding being filmed. Many fans wondered what exactly was bothering him so much.

Everything became easier to understand after fans discovered that the original video had been filmed and uploaded by a famous fansite named Headliner!

Within the BTS fandom, Headliner is considered one of Jungkook’s oldest and most well-known fansites. This fansite has followed the idol since debut, when he was only around 15 years old, and has produced many high-quality and viral photos and fancams of him. However, Headliner also has a controversial past that has made many people uncomfortable, and many believe this is the reason Jungkook appeared uneasy about being filmed by her despite her status as one of his biggest fansites.

Specifically, Headliner has repeatedly been accused of stalking and harαѕѕing Jungkook since BTS’ debut days. She was even accused of invading private schedules and following BTS onto airplanes to the point where BIGHIT MUSIC allegedly placed her on a blacklist — banning her from fansigns, fancalls, concerts, music shows, and even public BTS events such as the AMAs, although fans are now questioning how she still managed to get in.

On top of that, Headliner reportedly has a history of threatening Jungkook and once called him a “f*cking psychopath” simply because he did not accept a birthday gift from her. It is important to note that at the time, BigHit Music had already banned BTS from accepting gifts from fans. In addition, some fans have pointed out what they consider disturbing and predatory behavior from this fansite, noting that she is significantly older than Jungkook and had already behaved inappropriately toward him even when he was still a teenager.

The video of Jungkook continues to spread rapidly across social media platforms. Most fans have expressed discomfort on behalf of the idol and believe this fansite needs to stop her behavior immediately, arguing that no matter how large or longstanding a fansite may be, making an artist feel unsafe or uncomfortable is already crossing the line:

- That's an intense level of delusion. The fact that Poor Excuse for a Plebeian Lifeform has done this to Jungkook SINCE HE WAS A FUCKING CHILD! is beyond Disturbing; As are the people who consume her retched content. You want him to acknowledge you? Then STOP invading his life.

- The way she makes him so uncomfortable, you can tell he hates her bad. Stop doing this b!tch

- I was literally just saying last night how thank fck we haven’t seen her αѕѕ in awhile and here she comes… jfc… she literally needs to be behind bars she’s sick and disgusting

- She’s so notorious, i’ve known about her since 2017 and she’s still stalking him even after getting blacklisted, she needs to get admitted to a mental ward or smth

- She is a stalker, a paparazzi, and someone who was exposed to be a hater as well. She is not welcome at all
