June Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings: Jimin Drops 1st After 41 Months Because Of The Rise Of National Idol

Recently, the Korean Business Research Institute has announced the individual brand reputation results of boy groups in June 2022. This month, the rankings witnessed a big change in the order of male group idols!

The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 106,732,478 brand big data from 703 individual boy group members from May 18, 2022 to June 18, 2022 for data analysis. The Brand Reputation Rankings is analyzed with consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes using behavioral analytics. Compared to 105,753,751 big data on brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members in May, it increased by 0.93%.

This is the most anticipated monthly ranking that shows the interaction of idol brand reputation with the public. Here are the top 10 brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members in June, 2022!

10. BTS’s RM

RM ranked at 10th place with 2.061.896 points, rising 3 rankings compared to the last month. 

09. Wanna One's Kim Jae Hwan

This is a ranking that surpasses even Jae Hwan after months of absence from the top 10 of the chart. He is 9th with 2.069.891 points.

08. BTS's SUGA

This month, SUGA ranked at 8th place with 2.616.147 of brand reputation index. His index are related to BTS's comeback, PSY's That That and topics related to individual. 

07. BTS's Jin

Jin came in at a close 7th with a brand reputation index of 3.085.909. He has marked impressive rankings in the chart since months.

06. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon

G-Dragon continues to stand firmly on the brand value rankings with a brand reputation index of 3,134,057. The male idol still proves his popularity when his private life receives great attention from the public.

05. BTS’s V

In 5th place, BTS V brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 4,031,051, participation index 1,058,154, media index 985,604 communication index of 925,294 and community index of 1,062,000. Compared to the brand reputation index of 3,962,721 in May, it shows an increase of 1.72%.

04. BTS’s Jungkook

In 4th place, BTS Jungkook's brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 4,754,275, a participation index of 447,597, a media index of 412,766, a communication index of 1,768,747 and a community index of 2,125,166. It increases 2.45% compares to a brand reputation index of 4,640,378 in May.

03. BTS’s Jimin

In third place, Jimin brand is analyzed with a brand reputation index of 5,048,622 with a consumer participation index of 826,099, a media index of 765,753, a communication index of 1,268,454 and community index of 2,188,316. Compared to the brand reputation index of 6,229,539 in May, it fell 18.96%.

Jimin topped the brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members in September 2018, then ranked first for 35 consecutive months from January 2019 to November 2021, and ranked first for a total of 41 months. 

He has set the record for the only boy group member in history to achieve this feat. As the 'King of K-Pop' standing on the ranking, he has proven his name over the past several months. With the recent comeback of BTS, Jimin's ranking is expected to return next month!

02. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo

In second place, ASTRO's Cha Eun-Woo brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 5,236,670 with a consumer participation index of 1,265,004, media index of 1,140,395, communication index of 1,185,234, community index of 1,646,037. Compared to 3,256,942 brand reputation index in May, it has increased by 60.78%.

01. Wanna One’s Kang Daniel 

Wanna One's Kang Daniel, ranked first in terms of brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members in June, was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 5,253,824. Compared to last May's brand reputation index of 4,915,114, it increases 6.89%.

He has “record,” “advance,” and “release.” which is highly analyzed in affiliation analysis. The keyword related to “album,” “The Story,” and “Move Like This,” was analyzed very highly in keyword analysis. In the analysis of positive - negative ratio, the score is 80.51 percent positive reactions.

In this month rankings, j-hope is in 12th place with 1.832.977 points. In the next moth, he is expected to be in top 10 with his first solo debut stage and upcoming album.
