Jin Questions The “Expensive“ Cost Of Hiring BTS Members As Backup Dancers For Run Seokjin Tour

After completing his military service, Jin is showing an impressive burst of energy and a packed schedule that rivals any actively promoting idol. From variety shows, modeling campaigns, brand ambαѕѕadorships, to releasing a solo album and now embarking on a solo world tour, he seems to be making up for the 18-month hiatus.

The Run Seokjin Tour is currently taking Jin across major cities in the U.S. to meet fans, and with only one final show left on the 31st of this month, he will move on to the next leg of the tour to meet ARMYs in Europe.

Meanwhile, the remaining BTS members are quietly preparing for a new album set to be released in the spring of next year — a highly anticipated event after a long break from group activities. During this period, most of the members are focused on music rather than making public appearances.

That has led many fans to start... daydreaming. Some ARMYs have left humorous comments, tossing around the idea that Jin could recruit the other members to be his backup dancers during the concerts. Specifically, while chatting with fans on Weverse Live, Jin came across a comment that read: "I should have the BTS members as back-up dancers on my tour?"

An idea that sounded like a playful joke suddenly became a thrilling thought — and even more surprising, Jin responded wittily right after: “The cost would be... wow. Would they do it for free?”

Everyone understood what that “wow” meant — it was a nod to the undeniable fact that BTS are global superstars, with schedules and brand value at the very top of K-pop. So the cost of hiring them would no doubt be enormous — and even getting a “yes” from them might be impossible.

In fact, many events and organizers have offered huge amounts and planned a year in advance, yet still failed to get the group to appear or perform — let alone take on the role of backup dancers. Moreover, backup dancers are usually less spotlighted positions, often taken on by trainees before debut; for idols, it’s nearly unheard of.

While the idea may seem far-fetched, Jin’s question “Would they do it for free?” had fans laughing — not because it was unrealistic, but because of the bond between the members. The contrast between the first and second part of his sentence clearly shows Jin’s advantage of being part of the BTS family. And clearly, if the eldest hyung made the request, these superstars would almost certainly agree — and do it for free!

On the other hand, some fans pointed out that this might actually happen at one of his concerts, because Jin is known to love granting ARMYs’ wishes and preparing surprises for them. If, one day, the au∂ιєnce truly sees RM, j-hope, or Jimin emerge from backstage as backup dancers for Jin, it would undoubtedly become one of those “legendary” moments:

- Jin worrying about the cost of hiring BTS as backup dancers like they didn’t live in the same dorm for 10 years

- If every fan donates one album, we might afford one Jungkook head shake in the choreo!

- taehyung and yoongi for sure doing it for free. jungkook and namjoon if you ask nicely. hoseok will give you a family discount but you gotta pay full price for jimin.

- Make it a challenge like Run Seokjin, make sure the prize includes rice cooker, ramen maker or even boxes of Jin Ramen! I'm pretty sure they'll be up for that, Jiminnie for sure will be the first to sign up.

- Maknae line on their way as we speak

- Give them food, Jin.. Jungkook will do it for food..

- if anyone could negotiate that friends and family free rate, it’s jin

- You just have to bribe jungkook with food Jin.. he would be the first to jump on stage !!

- If Jin really asks, they’ll show up in full glam, do one dramatic spin, and vanish. Iconic behavior only

- Imagine Jimin doing body rolls behind Jin while RM forgets the choreo mid-performance. I need this chaos live

- Only Jin can hire global superstars as backup dancers for $0. Perks of being the eldest hyung

- Who else but Jin can turn BTS into backup dancers just by asking nicely? That’s not budget, that’s brotherhood
