HYBE's Idol Admitted About The Difficulty To Get Close To BTS

BTS has always been known as idols with friendly and kind personalities. So it is unusual for celebrities in the industry or even HYBE artists to find it difficult to get close to the group.

But in fact, BTS has repeatedly admitted that the downside of success and global fame is a big obstacle in maintaining close friendships with others. The members know that many people are afraid to approach BTS because of "hierarchy" or fear of causing more trouble.

In particular, hierarchy is a very strict and important concept in кσяєαn culture. It not only happens between family members but also affects the way people behave in relationships in society, and the artist world is no exception.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN's Hoshi admitted that it was difficult to get close to the group mainly because of this factor. Typically, when he first appeared on SUCHWITA, Hoshi could not hide his confusion.

Of course, considering the difference in seniority, it's no surprise that Hoshi was extremely polite to SUGA. BTS debuted 2 years before SEVENTEEN and in terms of their achievements in the industry, BTS is considered a "legend".

Although SUGA later tried to ease the awkward atmosphere by encouraging him, “You can just talk comfortably. You don’t have to be so formal with me", it's no surprise that Hoshi still seemed cautious in using polite words.

Not only that, the adorable Hoshi also confessed that although he really wanted to sit down and talk with SUGA, he didn't dare to do so. Noticing Hoshi's caution, SUGA encouraged, “You could’ve just come up and talked to me” because there was no reason for Hoshi not to do so.

But he pointed out that he himself found it difficult to approach senior artists. SUGA seemed surprised, adding, “We’re not that difficult". Hoshi then honestly explained, “You are,” and even though there are only two years between BTS and SEVENTEEN’s debuts, Hoshi still added, “You were hard to get close to…".

The problem isn't BTS's personality, it's that others feel hard as they stand in front of the big star like BTS. Luckily, SUGA knew that things had to change as he explained, “We can get close starting today!”

With Hoshi's sincere sharing, SUGA understood how other idols felt when facing BTS. From there, he got a great reaction to break down the barrier between them. The friendship between the two later showed that his reaction was effective!

While BTS always wants to make friends with many other people, even having their own idols, other artists often feel shy around Kpop superstars.

This brings back memories of Jin once confessing that the number of celebrities he keeps in touch with regularly is extremely small: "If you look at the contact list on my phone, I have less than 10 celebrity friends".

According to Jin, people often avoid contact with him or BTS members because they feel pressured. "Most people don't want to be friends with us because they feel pressured," Jin said.

The pressure that Jin or Hoshi mentioned, in general, can be understood as age, achievements, and fan base.

But it can be completely broken by the proactive friendliness and openness of BTS members. Other artists become completely open to their humble and kind personalities.
