BTS Continues Dropping Their Ranking Before Comeback On The Brand Reputation Rankings For June

Recently, Korean Business Research Institute announced the brand reputation rankings for June. The top positions have a certain order change.

The Brand Reputation Ranking is a monthly ranking conducted by the Korean Business Research Institute. The rankings are made to measure consumer relationships, positive and negative reviews, media interest, consumer interest, and traffic of artists and celebrities.

The ranking is based on the measurement of the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index through behavioral analysis of 29,197,319 consumers. June rankings are conducted by collecting big data from May 6 to June 6

This month, IU has topped the brand reputation of Korean showbiz. IU ranks first with a brand reputation index of 3,516,545, a participation index of 391,793, a media index of 807,785, a communication index of 816,158, and a community index of 1,500,809.

In the second place, the Son Heung-min brand was surveyed with a brand reputation index of 3,273,492 a participation index of 1,542,893, a media index of 620,464, and a communication index of 561,532 and a community index is 548,604.

3rd place is the BTS brand with a brand reputation index of 2,321,403 with a participation index of 398,835, a media index of 493,869, a communication index of 362,176, and a community index of 1,066,523.

Since last month, BTS has seen a drop in rankings. Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said that IU's advertising model brands Chamisul, Woori Bank, and Jeju Samdasoo received the highest consumer response.

This month, keywords associated with IU such as 'appear, release, give' scored high in big data association analysis along with IU's presence at the Cannes Film Festival. So Son Heung Min and BTS had a hard time competing with IU's ranking.

With BTS's appearance at the White House, last week along with comeback-related information, next month BTS's position is expected to regain its momentum!
