V Shares The Broken-hearted Reason Forcing Him To Usually Wear Hats

Well, apparently hats are a useful and also fashionable accessories for idols. There have even been trends of using baseball caps, bucket hats or beanie... originating from Kpop idols. Therefore, it is not strange that V also uses hats as an everyday accessory.

However, the reality behind those hats is a very unfortunate reason. For V, a hat is not just an accessory but also a lifesaver for beauty. In the most extreme cases, he chooses to use hats for his visual.

This was explained by V during a live broadcast. Below is the moment V shared the reason why he had to wear a hat so often and many people felt sympathy for him:

Recently, fans have witnessed many continuous changes in V's appearance. Especially the change in hairstyle and often see him appear with hats covering his hair. Since around May this year, V surprised fans by turning his curly black hair into bleached silver locks after ARMY witnessed him depart for ѕραιи.

But his hair was only slightly visible because he covered it with a hat. When he returned to Kσrєα 1 week later, V also kept this hair color and continued to hide it under another hat. It wasn't until June this year when V attended his first personal fanmeeting as a brand ambäṩṩador for the Indonesian financial consulting company, SimInvest, that fans were able to fully admire his brightly dyed hair after a long time.

This hairstyle did not last long when V dyed it a more blonde color. Sometime later, V seemed to have cut his hair short, straightened it, and dyed it dark. But even when he doesn't have any special events with his hair, he still often hides it behind a hat and makes fans wonder if this has to do with hiding his hairstyle?

After that, V quickly explained why he has often worn hats for about half a year now. It turned out the hat wasn't a̾c̾c̾i̾d̾e̾n̾tal and wasn't just there to hide his new hair color. V started by telling fans that he doesn't usually wear hats, but that he recently wore them due to damaged hair as a result of repeated bleaching.

His hair was damaged, frizzy and difficult to style, so every time he went out without a haircut, it became a mess. That made it difficult for V to control his hair and he decided to wear a hat to solve the situation. V expressed: "I don't wear hats often, but I dyed my hair so much, so it was hard to take care of my hair. These days, it's hard to manage my hair. Look!"

He also recalls the last time he bleached his hair most recently during BTS's "Butter" promotions in 2021. Even though it's been 3 years, his hair continues to be severely damaged after bleaching hair. V complained: "When was the last time I dyed my hair? The last time was Butter, so it's been a while. Three years? I think it's been 3 years".

Not only that, there was also a time when V bleached his hair and changed his hair color 5 times in a row in just a few months. Meanwhile, fans also understand how dyeing or bleaching hair causes great harm to the hair of K-pop idols. Aespa's Karina is also a similar topic of discussion about bleaching her hair, causing severe damage to the female idol's hair.

The reason V gave was for the fans but they still cheered him on no matter what:

- I can relate,  my hair is a mess even with treatment (bc dyeing). He's so beautiful

- I hope this is the last time he coloured his hair before entering m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴, there’s side effects to our scalp

- He is still pretty

- This is so relatable….. as a fellow blonde I feel your pain Tae

- Better not looking at mine, Tae, if you look like this when your hair is difficult to manage....

- Bleach will really fry your hair sadly but it’s the only way to go blond

- Looks perfect as usual...

- he is so cute my little fluff ball

- still handsome, baby... dont worry too much...
