In the K-pop community, the “ship” culture has long become a habit for fans. Fans like to pay attention to small actions, matching items to connect them into romantic hints between idols, even fabricating dating rumors.

Although sometimes their discoveries are true or not too offensive, many times it also goes beyond the scope of entertainment, turning into the origin of false rumors, causing many negative consequences for the image and career of idols.

In recent times, Jungkook has been a typical victim of over-shipping from a portion of fans. Even another detail was brought up for discussion: Winter’s Instagram handle, @imwinter, is quite similar in naming to Jungkook’s account @imjungkook.
