Today, Taehyung is back as the DJ for MBC Radio Starry Night. This is also his last day in this role and there are many stories of friendship to be shared.
One of them is the story of his May trip to Jeju Island with some friends. This led many fans to believe that the previous rumor about V coming to Jeju with Jennie was untrue.
When V talked about this story, many people also thought that this was an ingenious way that V revealed the truth after the recent controversies:
As ARMYs know, Taehyung participated in 2 broadcasts of the radio show Starry Night with singer Park Hyo Shin. Today is his last recording and there is another guest, Kang Dongwon, who is one of the two's close friends.
Since it is rare for the three to talk together on a show, they have shared many interesting information regarding their friendship. One of them V revealed that the three of them, along with Joo HyungJin, had a plan to go to Jeju Island together. This is also a rare trip where all 4 people can gather together.
But because the trip took place in May and Park Hyo Shin could not arrange his schedule, he was unable to accompany him on that trip. So only Taehyung, Joo HyungJin and Kang Dongwon went to Jeju.
During this trip, V revealed something about Jeju Island that touched him. That's when he saw the flowers, it almost made him want to cry. He was quite surprised at this sudden feeling of his and Park Hyo Shin joked with him saying do you miss me? Taehyung later admitted that he thought about Park Hyo Shin but the strange thing is that because of that one flower he thought was he at the age where he liked flowers?
After V's sharing, ARMYs feel very happy that V had such a great trip and friendship with other celebs. Moreover, many netizens have linked this trip with the rumor that V and Jennie went to Jeju in May to date. Many people think that V's trip really didn't come with Jennie but his group of friends Kang Dongwon and the rumors of them dating in Jeju are fake.
Some even suggested that V randomly sharing this is also a signal that the rumor is untrue:
