There are only a few days left until V and the rest of BTS members will enlist and ARMYs seem to be moved by a lot of his content being released these days. One of them includes a new video posted on the YouTube channel of Na Yeon Seok, also known as Na PD.
In the video, in addition to the participation of Na PD and V, there is also actor Park Seo Joon. The three sat and talked together to talk about enlisting in the army before V became a rookie. It's worth noting that V shared one of his biggest regrets when he joined the army and also the thing that fans felt the saddest about when he mentioned it.
Below are V's thoughts and feelings before enlisting, which he shared:
On December 8, the Youtube channel of Na PD - a famous entertainment program producer - shared a video with the title "GOD of gratitude - because <I'm> grateful to Taehyung". The purpose of the video is for him and actor Park Seo Joon to arrange soṃệẗḧing. surprise for V, who is about to enlist in the army.
When V arrived at the scene, the three of them started talking about the army, and V surprisingly said that he was really excited about it. When Na PD seemed a bit surprised by his enthusiasm, V explained that his father often told him interesting stories when he served as a child, which made him eager to experience new things.
He expressed: "To be honest, my dad had told me fun stories about the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷. I wanted to at least once go and experience it." While ARMYs expressed regret and did not want to leave him, it seems that V has a positive mood for the upcoming enlistment.
Not only that, from V's perspective, he also doesn't see joining the army as soṃệẗḧing disadvantageous, or even a great development opportunity. Previously, he confirmed the news of him joining the Special Mission Team to carry out his duties and told fans that he wanted to challenge himself through intense training and operation of the unit.
He continued to express: "I’m actually excited. I was very excited since I was young. Another experience for me? I was eager to do soṃệẗḧing like that…I think it would have a good effect on my growth."
Therefore, V seems to be ready for his 1 year and 6 month m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ enlistment and even has high expectations for his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ experience. However, it's not like V doesn't have big regrets about having to enlist on December 11. He also added when chatting with Na PD and Park Seo Joon.
He started: "I was actually very disappointed by it.." and Na PD asked more specifically: "About what?". Then, V replied: "Birthday!". He continued to express his feelings: "I was a little disappointed that I don’t get to celebrate my birthday before I go… Everything else is good" and it made fans feel heartbroken to hear his confession.
