When becoming a platoon leader, V will be the person on behalf of his superiors to disseminate orders to new recruits as well as be responsible for instructing other members of the platoon.

But there is a more detailed story about how V was chosen as platoon leader and what his "bustling" dorm life was like. Specifically, the story was told by a new recruit in the same platoon as V and his cousin recounted the whole story for ARMYs. 

According to her cousin, he told Taehyung has the best attitude and is the most polite among the trainees, so Taehyung became the platoon leader trainee. Moreover, he said Taehyung would have succeeded even if he became a solďïệr, not an idol. Every time OP's friend's cousin sees him, he thinks Taehyung looks like a real solďïệr, and all he can think about is that he wants Taehyung to be a solďïệr.

But what's more notable is that because of V's sociable personality and always stirring up the atmosphere, his dorm is always the noisiest dorm. The trainees who share the dorm with Taehyung are loud so the instructors are having a hard time. In addition, OP's cousin is also pointed out that there were a lot of people coming to see V and that he was a famous solďïệr in the army.

Well, it seems like V adapted very quickly to the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ environment without any problems.
