Invading idols' privacy is not a new story in Kpop. It started since creating entertainment with celebrities and fan communities. To this day, the practice of aggressive fans haräṩṩing idols even to their homes still exists.
The recently reported case of V is one such example. But from V's story, ARMYs also found out some of the people who are believed to be the source of revealing information about his whereabouts. One of them is a YouTuber named Pooh in Korea.
She quickly received a wave of criticism from fans for revealing the area where V lived in her video. But despite the accusations, this girl spoke up in a defiant tone and said she did nothing wrong:
The fact that Kpop idols have their private lives disturbed, their homes broken into, and always live in fear of being attacked and stalked is a serious problem that has lasted for decades, through many generations of idols. Even BTS is no exception and this year, there have been many times when BTS members had to speak up because many crazy people approached them at their homes.
V is one of the latest victims of this problem after facing a 30-year-old fan following and haräṩṩing him at his home after returning from an overseas schedule. Fortunately, the timely presence of apartment security as well as the evidence collected by the ρσℓι¢є caused the troublemaker to be arrested and face the law.
However, in addition to the person who directly caused V's obsession, ARMYs also pointed out that there were many other people who äṩṩisted in this disgusting act of sasaeng fans. Those are the people who spread information and addresses of V as well as BTS members on SNS. Typically, a female Youtuber has a Youtube channel called "Pooh in Korea".
This girl is said to be a BTS fan living in кσяєα. She regularly makes videos that involve visiting areas where BTS members live, including V, Jimin, and RM, as well as places the members often visit. One of her most notable videos that caused fans to criticize her for revealing and spreading information about V's house address was the video titled "BTS V HOUSE + NEIGHBORHOOD TOUR".
This video was filmed about a year ago, recording scenes inside the luxury apartment area where V lives as well as describing it in detail. This action of the female Youtuber made ARMYs extremely angry, especially in the current context. Therefore, a wave of criticism caused this female YouTuber to remove the video from her Youtube channel. But she just kept it private without deleting it completely and many people äṩṩumed that because this video had nearly 10 million views.
The video recording the scene where V lives is not the only video she owns. She also has some other videos like sharing about Jimin and RM's whereabouts with the title "I visited Jimin and RM neighborhood", Youtube short with the content "BTS V house",...
Not only that, facing criticism and attacks from fans for spreading V's home address, this girl also challenged those fans with the statement that she did not violate the law of кσяєα. She also claimed that if the content of her video was ilℓєgαℓ, it would have been removed by Youtube and sued by HYBE.
She wrote in a response: "Hi. I understand your concern but the video but it has nothing against the кσяєαn/Hybe/Privacy guidelines. I've been in кσяєα for almost 5 years and I better know what's ℓєgαℓ and what not. I'm aware of the laws as a permanent resident of кσяєα.
Plus, that's V's old residence, the a̾c̾c̾i̾d̾e̾n̾t of few days ago didn't happen there but in his other new residence. People are just wrongly targeting the video just because of the views. If it had som̾e̾t̾h ̾ing wrong it would have been forcefully taken down either by YT or Hybe if the reports were legit. But they weren't and I decided to put it private on my own".
Notably, this girl said "the a̾c̾c̾i̾d̾e̾n̾t of few days ago didn't happen there but in his other new residence" making ARMYs really surprised about what she was holding regarding V's private life. After her response challenge, fans The more I feel that this girl has a problem and must report it to HYBE so they can take measures to prevent her behavior from continuing:
- The way she even knows he changed his house so that means she knows his new house too
- but why does she even know about his new and old residence??
- She even knows that he moved from old residence to a new one
- CASUALLY SAYING THAT SHE KNOWS THAT HE HAS MOVED TO A NEW PLACE LIKE??????????
- The way she exposed herself
- why does she know he moved to a new residence???
- So she knows where is his new apartment?
- I knew people named p**nam were always problematic
- How does she know about his old and new residence
- The AUDACITY and the entitlement???? Gosh
- She's trying to say that stalking an idol and sharing their location is ℓєgαℓ in korea!?? And she even knows...the a̾c̾c̾i̾d̾e̾n̾t happened in taes new residence.... that's c̾r̾e̾e̾p̾y ̾
- yeah I need her in jail rn
- Fighting for the type of videos she shouldn't be making in the first place PULL HER CHANNEL DOWN
- Mam you are not removing that just coz of the views
- I don't understand what's the sense of making these kind of videos v's apartment or else like it's their home not a garden ... And she even knows that it's his old apartment wow
- the part where she KNEW tae's old apartment & his new one sends shivers to my spine i hope HYBE sued the heck outta this woman
