SUGA Shares The Motivation To Get Where He Is Today Had Ever Been Criticism

During the past decade, from not being famous to becoming world superstars, BTS and SUGA have had to go through both harsh criticism and big compliments. But for SUGA at the moment, those words no longer have much influence on him and his career.

Although in the past, these have all had an effect on his mood and motivation. But now, SUGA has found new motivation. It's from himself:

SUGA is one of the members who is known for his straightforward personality and the simplicity of his lifestyle. This helps him to avoid annoyance as well as not affected by negative pressure from haters.

However, in order to have the success and coldness in the face of criticism like today, SUGA has had to go through a very long maturing process. Not from the very beginning of his debut, he was able to ignore the negative gossip about himself and the group.

In an interview with Proof Collection Album, SUGA shared how he used to use hater's criticism as motivation to work, but now, he is no longer affected by it. Even the compliments of other people didn't make his emotions too uplifting.

But thanks to that, he believes more in his own words. Specifically, SUGA shared: "I used to get motivation when people accused me, but now I'm don't get motivation particularly. On the contrary, I can't feel big motivation from compliments. Instead of the words from other people, I get more motivation from my own words.

When I was young, I was not that good, so if I wrote songs, it's not easy to get those songs passed. But nowadays, in most situation, I get ok from what I'm working on, so it becomes a fight with myself. "Is it the best I can do? Is it good? Shouldn't it be more creative than this one? " I keep telling it to myself".

Totally agree with it, the reason SUGA gives is completely correct and it is also a valuable lesson about the only source of motivation that makes you successful. It is really helpful for those who still care about what others say about them. Actually, it is very difficult to control the words of others, but you can control your mood and your words.

Nothing makes more sense than trying and making an effort on your own. But the most important thing is that you need to trust yourself and love yourself. Many ARMYs also agree with SUGA's point of view:

- seeing their growth really does make me happy…

- so we are a bit same . self motivated . self critic .  introspective ( will it suit here idk ) . words frm others make me happy, but don't perctuliarly feel anything about it after a while idk why .   only diff is my man is damn hardworking n im a lazy procrastinating a** .
