For ARMYs, the most difficult thing is probably not fighting with antifans or sasaeng fans, but perhaps seeing BTS injured or sick is the hardest reality to accept. Because every time I see the members suffering without being able to help, ARMYs feel sad.
In particular, perhaps it must be mentioned the time when SUGA faced surgery for his shoulder injury and was absent for a while. That's when ARMYs miss and love SUGA the most, but it's also the hardest time for him.
SUGA once shared how his time recovering from injury made him self-conscious:
Back in late 2020 was the time when SUGA had to undergo surgery on a shoulder injury because he couldn't bear the recurring pain anymore. SUGA's shoulder injury that has tormented him all these years stemmed from a motorcycle accident he suffered while he was working part-time as a food delivery driver.
In the following years, due to frequent practice and high-intensity dancing, SUGA's injuries became more and more serious. Until he couldn't take it anymore and needed surgery, SUGA had to stop working for a while. He even did a livestream to say goodbye to ARMYs before being hospitalized.
Then, at the beginning of 2021, SUGA was able to officially return to activities with the group. However, at this time, SUGA still has to perform functional exercises and pay attention to health to recover from injury.
During a livestream, SUGA shared that the surgery has made him feel so much better. Besides, SUGA also shared his surgical practice. SUGA shared that he does rehab three times a week and that he exercises regularly in his spare time in the early months after surgery.
SUGA practiced with the support of doctors and company staff. But when it comes to stage 2, SUGA has to go to the physiotherapy center and start phase 2 of shock wave therapy.
This is also the hardest time for him to recover from injury. Jungkook was even curious about his recovery and suggested that SUGA make a documentary about his rehabilitation.
SUGA revealed that he also had thoughts of planning to film some of them. Although he had an idea about it, he ended up not filming anything because he thought he looked too "pitiful" at the time.
After hearing SUGA express his feelings, Jimin also shared that he had seen UGA go through rehabilitation and it looked extremely difficult, as SUGA was sweating all over. SUGA then told Jimin that what he saw was nothing and that his rehabilitation at a later stage was much more difficult.
It can be seen how hard SUGA's process of recovering from an injury has made him feel and self-deprecating. But in the end, with his efforts, SUGA still finished and tried to come back as soon as possible with ARMYs.
Now, hopefully SUGA and BTS won't have to suffer any more pain. Stay healthy guys!
