SUGA Once Offered To Attend A Legendary ARMY’s Wedding, But She Refused — Here’s Why

Today marks the 12th anniversary since the name “ARMY” was officially chosen as BTS’s fandom name. As ARMY turns 12, it’s a moment for fans around the world to reflect on their journey of connection, support, and growth alongside BTS for over a decade.

Among countless memories, one legendary moment stands out: the story of a devoted female fan who supported SUGA from the very beginning—so much so that he once offered to attend her wedding. This story has been resurfacing and capturing attention.

Many newer fans might not know her by name, but longtime ARMY remember the unforgettable mark she left—even if they’ve forgotten who she is. The phrase “I will sue you, Min Yoongi” —famous within the fandom—was hers.

At almost fansigns and events about 11 years ago, she stood out in the crow by shouting that she would sue Yoongi for “hurting her heart and ARMY because he’s too handsome and adorable.” The whole fandom laughed as SUGA responded with a helpless smile at the playful joke.

Those humorous interactions thrilled fans. The phrase later became legendary whenever SUGA made ARMYs’ hearts flutter.

Although she showed her pαѕѕion from day one, as time pαѕѕed she stopped attending fansigns, and the iconic shouts faded away. Behind her disappearance lies a touching story that many ARMYs can relate to—the bittersweet thought of growing up while still loving BTS.

According to ARMY lore, her last fansign appearance was in 2016, during BTS’s Wings era. No longer threatening legal action, she gently asked, "Can I wear this choker and cat ears for you, because this is the last time I can appear here."

SUGA immediately agreed—though curious why she wouldn’t come again. She told him she was getting married soon.

Recognizing her legendary status as a fan, he boldly offered, "So do you want Bangtan to come to the wedding and sing for you?".

She was surprised but immediately declined, fearing that if he actually showed up, she wouldn’t be able to marry him—and would just cry at the wedding.

SUGA teased, "So if you get married, you'll stop suing me, right?". The ARMY replied, "It's true that I won't sue you anymore. But not because I'm married. Before, I wanted to sue you because I got jealous every time I saw you laughing and talking to other ARMYs. But now I won't sue you anymore, because from now on, no matter what you do, I'll be happy."

They ended the conversation with SUGA congratulating her and wishing for her everlasting happiness. This anecdote has moved generations of fans, highlighting her youthful pαѕѕion and the genuine emotions felt while admiring BTS through their early years.

It shows that within fandom, sometimes someone who isn’t related by вℓσσ∂ can become a lifelong companion during our youth—stronger even than best friends or first loves. Every ARMY carries this feeling, making the story even more resonant.

Though the future may bring changes for both ARMY and BTS, their bond will remain unwavering. It’s just that expressions of love and support may grow quieter—but never any less heartfelt.
