RM has long been a fan of his big idol Pharrell Williams. Right from the first meeting, he showed his admiration and desire to cooperate with Pharrell.
Right now, he's living his best days as a Pharrell fan, being able to collaborate on a new song and have a lengthy interview about his career story. But besides that, through the interview, RM also received many compliments and his subtlety in handling the situation.
Recently, the Rolling Stones posted a conversation between RM, sitting across from Pharrell Williams. This interview took place in early September, on stage in an empty, secured auditorium at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. The two had an interesting conversation when talking about their artistic journey in love for each other.
Through the conversation, Pharrell and RM opened up many issues about fear in the journey of self-discovery in the artistic path, the story of charity work and the burdens from the pressure of fame, etc. Not only that, Pharrell and RM also revealed that they have collaborated on a few upcoming works.
Besides, Pharrell and RM also give each other sincere advice from the pressures they face in their artistic path. This is seen as a historical conversation between two people who represent the two arts.
ARMYs were extremely eager and excited to follow the full story. But besides that, there was an incident that made ARMY laugh but also constantly praised RM's handling of this situation.
That's when RM mentioned the memory of BTS and Pharrell Williams' first meeting at Billboard in 2018 and Pharrell must have been very impressed with this meeting. So he accidentally used the word "f**king* when talking to RM about they took photo behind the stage.
Then Pharrell tried to rephrase his answer because he said "f*ck" in front of Namjoon. He said that he didn't want to offend ARMYs and to be aggressive. Pharrell after that wanted to explained he didn't want ARMY to react negatively and RM immediately replied "No, they're not like that".
Moreover, RM even started using curse words after Pharrell said that ARMYs won't like the harsh words to show him he can speak however he wants. He prove that ARMYs have a lot of respect for other artists and they are also very understanding of such situations.
It shows how well RM understands ARMY and always makes others have a good impression of ARMY instead of feeling pressured. This is also the best way to protect ARMYs from misunderstanding:
