BTS has existed for more than a decade and the future still has a long way to go. In order for all 7 members to always accompany each other on this journey, it is certainly impossible not to mention the important role of the group leader - the person who guides the members.

There is no doubt that RM is always highly appreciated as an excellent and perfect leader for BTS. Not only does he have the bravery of a leader to enhance the group's spirit of solidarity, but he also understands the members better than anyone. In particular, he always knows how to express his feelings to his group members.

This is clearly shown in the photo he sent to V with a heartfelt, touching message that made his brother cry:

To be the leader of a music group, in addition to leadership ability, steely spirit and intelligence, "winning people's hearts" is also an equally important factor. Thanks to his ability to connect the members mentally and emotionally, RM has fostered BTS's relationship as strong as a family. That is also the key to why BTS has been able to operate with 7 members for more than 10 years.

Not only that, the important thing here is that RM knows how to sincerely touch the members' hearts with his actions and words. The way he talks is sweet and meaningful, making anyone pay attention when listening. Even ARMYs were moved by the way he encouraged his members and showed how much he understood them.

A typical example is in a letter that RM sent to V, he made his younger brother cry because of the group leader's warm concern. Specifically, in a scene of Bon Voyage when BTS members wrote letters to each other, RM wrote a few lines for V - the person he felt had changed the most among the BTS members after many years. 

At the beginning of the letter, RM wrote about his first feeling when he saw V. He affirmed that V was really cute and he knew V would debut with BTS because he could see his special features. his personality. RM wrote: "I remember when I first met you, when you came with your father to our dorm with big eyes, busy legs, your puckered lips, I knew at once, That you will be a rascal I also remember how you were anxious before our debut."

Next, RM admitted that he was worried about V when BTS debuted because there was a weakness in his personality. That's how V is like an innocent angel in this world full of difficulties. He confided: "You are unique and strange character got me puzzled at that time. So I wondered what aspect of yours helped you to bear everything at that time".

Finally, after years of being bandmates, RM realized that he actually learned more from V than V learned from him. Even the weakness that RM once thought was the most worrying thing about V became a point that he admired. RM wrote: "But as time went by and my hair start to grow out, I realized that even me who I thought was the norm, is also a strange a puzzling guy. And I was​ drawn by your uniqueness. And I was envious at time because you easily befriend people and everyone likes you.You have shown everyone that your strangeness is actually your unique charm."

RM realizes that difference is V's greatest strength. Thanks to his cute, innocent and adorable personality, V quickly integrates with everyone and does everything well. He also admires how V is able to keep a pure heart in an idol world that has many complications even after many years of debut.

At the end of the letter, RM also left a thank you note because V chose to become a member of BTS instead of pursuing his other dreams. He ended the letter with these sweet lines: "You might say this makes you cringe but since you started out at a trainee, I wanted to say I'm grateful to as a friend and older member. Thank you for not becoming a farmer or playing the saxophone and coming to us to complete BTS".

And after reading this, V completely couldn't control his emotions and burst into tears. The way RM talks to V shows how much he cares about the member's personality. He is really subtle and pays attention to differences to find ways to harmonize or help group members. That's what makes the letter even more touching.

BTS has survived until today because all members respect each other's presence, especially with the guidance of a great leader like RM!
