BTS is one of the most open K-pop groups when it comes to collaborating with international artists, constantly pushing beyond the boundaries of K-pop itself. Many of the group’s musical projects have involved non-кσяєαn singers, songwriters, producers, dancers, or choreographers, creating impressive cross-cultural blends of music and artistry.
Representative examples include Boy With Luv featuring Halsey, My Universe with legendary British band Coldplay, Make It Right and Permission to Dance involving Ed Sheeran, Waste It on Me produced by Steve Aoki, as well as the striking choreography for Not Today, Dope, and Fire created by Keone Madrid.
Famous dancer Kany Diabaté also seems eager to join the lineup of artists collaborating with BTS in the future, as she recently expressed her desire to work with one of the BTS members!

For those unfamiliar with her, Kany Diabaté quickly established herself as a world-clαѕѕ choreographer and dancer. She has participated in numerous large-scale international performances and has worked with Beyoncé on her world tour, as well as with Michael Jackson and Ariana Grande. In recent years especially, she has gained extensive experience in stage production for famous K-pop idols and groups such as VIVIZ, BADVILLAIN, Jisoo of BLACKPINK, Key of SHINee, and many other artists.

She ever mentioned that working with many K-pop artists has made her even more absorbed in the charm of K-pop. “Compared to artists overseas, K-pop is totally different. In the U.S., dance is rarely emphasized, and practicing directly with the artist is uncommon. Sometimes you only meet them for the first time on the day of the music video shoot. But in кσяєα, the rehearsal process with artists is very systematic. Choreographers have much more room to participate in the creative process, so I really like the кσяєαn style,” she said.
Kany’s pαѕѕion for working within the K-pop genre prompted the interviewer to ask her to choose a few K-pop artists she would like to collaborate with in the future. The dancer immediately listed several idols, including Jungkook, and didn’t forget to add, “Please contact my manager anytime", which made everyone laugh.

Kany’s candid message, once the clip began spreading widely on social media, instantly sent ARMYs into a frenzy. Her admiration and praise for Jungkook not only highlight his powerful appeal but also reaffirm his exceptional talent as an artist.
Fans have also shown strong support for her proposal. Many comments tagged Big Hit Music or Jungkook, expressing hopes that the two would get the chance to work together. They also noted that Kany’s dance style aligns extremely well with Jungkook’s, and that the collaboration would surely result in a masterpiece.
Meanwhile, Jungkook already has extensive experience working with international choreographers and dancers in his previous solo releases. BTS’s Golden Maknae collaborated with Brian Puspos — a Filipino-αмєяι¢αn choreographer/dancer — for SEVEN and Standing Next To You. Keone Madrid, Shay Latukolan, Sienna Lalau, and Lyle Beniga have also been credited with contributing to the choreography of these songs.
For that reason, a collaboration between Jungkook and Kany Diabaté feels entirely possible. Fans left excited comments such as: "When u are THE REAL DEAL… you will be searched through thick and thin, through heaven and earth. Proud of my babe #JungKook and Kany, let's go", "Artists who worked with MJ just LOVE Jungkook", "So much to look forward to with Jungkook x Kany project in the future", "Wow this insane, pls make this happen", "If Jungkook and Kany really collaborate, I swear it’s going to be the most legendary performance of the year! Their energy matches perfectly",...
