The BTS members are currently in their chapter 2 and doing solo activities. Fans are looking forward to the members' solo activities because they always bring interesting things.

However, this period also equates to the fact that BTS will also be preparing for m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service so that they can return as a group soon in 2025. Even Jungkook, who has not yet reached the age to enlist, seems to as well as had his personal plans for the matter.

During his latest live broadcast, Jungkook talked about his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service and what he will prepare for when he enlists:

Ever since last June when BTS announced that they would be doing individual activities instead of group activities in chapter 2, fans have been convinced that this is due to m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service issues. Every young male in ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a must enlist before the age of 28 and it is no exception for male K-pop artists.

Only BTS was allowed to postpone their enlistment until the age of 30 because of their great service to the country and after receiving the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit. But just when it was their 30th birthday, Jin and j -hope quickly canceled the application to postpone the enlistment and immediately performed his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service as a full-fledged sol∂ιєr.

While Jin was working as a teaching a̾s̾sistant at Yeoncheon Rookie Training Center, j-hope had just finished his 5 weeks of basic training and was waiting to be sorted into the official unit. After Jin and j-hope, there are definitely some other members who are also arranging their activities and schedules to enlist soon. But it seems that Jungkook is not someone ARMYs imagine to be enlisting any time soon.

However, he has also shared honestly about this plan and fans, although feeling worried, still support if he actually enlists in the future. Specifically, on May 25, Jungkook υиєχρє¢тє∂ly held a live broadcast with his fans.

During the live broadcast with fans, Jungkook sat down and talked about interesting things in his life recently. After that, he couldn't stop talking about j-hope - who just enlisted in the army not too long ago and just completed basic training.

He mentioned: "Our Hope hyung recently had a ceremony for completing training. Hope hyung uploaded a selfie on our group chat, and his eyes became very manly."

Jungkook then suddenly mentioned his own upcoming enlistment, surprising fans. He spoke softly and rea̾s̾sured fans that he would return with a breath-taking visual. He told that: "Ah, I have to go (to the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷), too, though. I’ll go and return cooly."

Jungkook also did not forget to give some interesting stories around this to make fans more relaxed. He shared his plans to cut his hair if he enlisted, even though it's not what he wanted.

He humorously said: "Rather than cutting all my hair suddenly, I will gradually cut it shorter and shorter. It’s called hair-lighting (play on words from gaslighting), and I will keep cutting my hair shorter until you guys all of a sudden ask, What, when did his hair become so short? When did he buzz his hair? And so I will make it so that (my short haircut) feels natural."

Although it was just a story that Jungkook suddenly remembered when talking about j-hope, it also brought fans back to the reality that he will be enlisting in the future as well as the other members. Currently, Jungkook's enlistment schedule has not been officially determined and he is preparing for his solo album. There's also a long time left for fans to enjoy with him.
