Jungkook Emotionally Confessed That ARMYs Gave Him Motivation When He Wanted To Quit Idol Career

Jungkook has repeatedly refused the excessive attention of crazy fans, but for true ARMYs, he always loves and cherishes their feelings. It's not just because superstars need fans, but between Jungkook and ARMYs is a relationship of mutual progress.

During a live chat with fans, he did not hesitate to admit that the motivation to become an idol like today is ARMYs. He wanted to give up this career many times because of the difficulties and challenges, but every time he thought of ARMYs, he had more strength to overcome.

Thinking back to the time when he felt pressured about everything, Jungkook is extremely grateful to the fans who helped him move forward:

The journey to becoming a K-pop idol is not easy for anyone, even when that artist is at the peak of his career. BTS members in general and Jungkook in particular are all Kpop superstars, admired by many people, but they still have a lot of pressure in maintaining their reputation, career and public love.

In particular, Jungkook started his career as a K-Pop idol when he was only 14-15 years old. At such a young age, he certainly faced more difficulties and challenges than anyone else to grow up and become a true artist like he is now. Every time Jungkook stepped on stage with his enthusiasm and explosive energy, no one knew that this young idol had many times wanted to give up his career and what he was doing.

Jungkook once honestly shared his feelings with his fans in a broadcast: “Many people are still having a hard time. And so are we. There were certainly times when I wanted to let go of everything. Because I am human too.” To this, he confessed, “Things that were planned fell apart in an instant and I couldn’t figure out what to do and I wanted to let go of everything.”

Negative thoughts began to creep into Jungkook's mind because success at that time had become too much of a challenge for him. Having to perfect everything made him no longer feel happy. The goal of becoming a top idol gradually became a heavy pressure, making the young man want to leave everything behind to free his mind.

But fortunately, there were people who were always by Jungkook's side whenever he felt weakest and wanted to give up the most. The person who played a huge role in maintaining Jungkook as he is today is none other than ARMY - his fans. Jungkook admitted that the presence of ARMYs and BTS members played a huge role in creating the Golden Maknae he is today.

He concluded, “But naturally, after seeing the fans and the members next to me gave me strength again.”

The ARMY fandom gave him more limitless and ultimate strength than ever to overcome the negative emotions in his heart. Coming out of the darkness, Jungkook aimed for the dream he had been pursuing for more than a decade, which was to become a singer and serve his fans.

When asked about his personal dreams as Jeon Jungkook, he affirmed that he had no other dreams than to become a singer. He said in an interview, "Although I am someone who wants to do many things, what I am doing right now makes me so happy that I have no personal goals other than my goals and dreams as a singer. I am so happy right now. I want to meet fans soon and hold a concert. Right now, these are my dreams."

Jungkook is a very straightforward person and he does not hide his overflowing feelings for his fans. Having been with him since he was a teenager until he became a grown man, ARMYs seem to have become an indispensable part of his life.

With BTS and ARMYs as his motivation, Jungkook will definitely continue his idol journey until he gets older!
