Earlier this month, the BTS maknae released his first solo album, "Golden," with the title track “Standing Next To You.” As part of his album promotions, the singer appeared on the TODAY Show on November 8.

He completely impressed fans and screamed their hearts out with his amazing performance. But despite the support and love of fans, Jungkook still seems unsatisfied with his performance today. He even apologized to his fans but in the end, all ARMYs disagreed with his apology for a special reason.

Here's what made Jungkook feel like his performance today wasn't perfect and how ARMYs reacted to the situation:

On November 8, Jungkook prepared for his performance on the TODAY Show as part of promoting his album "GOLDEN". Jungkook prepared three live performances for the show: “Standing Next To You”, “3D” and “Seven”. It's no wonder that fans were truly enthralled with his performance and cheered pαssionately for the Kpop superstar.

Even so, it seems that Jungkook still feels sorry for ARMYs for making a few small mistakes during the performance. He blamed himself for "messing" the live performance. Immediately after returning from the performance stage, Jungkook wrote a status line apologizing to fans because today's performance was not perfect. He added that he had no excuse and would do better next time.

He wrote: "ARMYs… I'm sorry… I messed up the live. Heh I have no excuses. I'll do better on the next live broadcast!"

Although Jungkook's apology was sincere, it left fans confused. ARMYs flocked to social media to express their vehement disagreement with him, noting that they couldn't even find any part of his live performance that wasn't good. Some fans were also upset over the fact that Jungkook is so hard on himself despite the cold weather being out of his control, which made it harder for him to breathe while singing.

Fans presenting at the venue revealed the fact that Jungkook had to endure the cold weather to perform the song live. Considering the time of year, it was not surprising that it was very cold and no matter how hard he tried to warm up, he was shivering even before going on stage.

At one point, ARMY shared that he even had to tell the staff how cold it was because it affected his ability to sing because of the low temperature and wind. In particular, in one video, netizens noticed that the male idol's fists were closed as if to stop himself from shaking.

However, despite all of this, Jungkook was still seen putting on a truly professional face while performing. He not only sang live and danced but also interacted with the crowd, creating unforgettable memories for the auďïệnce. Many fans shared that Jungkook's performances always seem to encounter harsh weather, whether it's rain or temperature. However, the idol always puts 110% into each performance to ensure he can perform in front of ARMY:

While fans might not agree with Jungkook’s self-αssessment, there is no denying how rare it is for a big star like Jungkook to publicly admit being dissatisfied with their performance and even offer fans an apology for it. It only shows how mature and secure the BTS member is in his role as a performer and his close dynamic with ARMYs that allowed him to be vulnerable like this.
