Jin Shares What Makes BTS Maintain Their Team During More Than 10 Years

Talking about the success of BTS, perhaps there are too many things to make a worldwide famous BTS as it is now. But perhaps the most important thing is still the connection between the members.

On the show My Alcohol Diary aired tonight, Jin shared the secret to BTS's success and maintenance for 10 years. What Jin shared shows how close the connection is between the members.

This is also what makes ARMYs touched when they trust and wait for BTS:

Jin joined Lee Young Ji's My Alcohol Diary as a special guest for her final episode. Here, Jin and Young Ji shared many stories about life, career, and friendship stories.

Near the end of the show, Lee Young Ji asked Jin if there was something he wanted to do and a few things he wanted to do to feel less burdened. At that point, Jin reminded him of BTS's success and how the members' support reassured him.

Jin began that: "One of the reasons why we are so successful is that each of the members concedes what he wants to do for the other members."

This is absolutely true because when we live in a group, we not only think for ourselves, but also think for the benefit of others. When living in a group, the actions of one person can affect others as well.

Sold-out concerts, millions of albums sold, countless awards and more are things they would never have experienced without having a good relationship with each other. Not only are BTS like a family, but they also have the mindset of making sacrifices to be able to maintain a long-term business relationship at the same time so they can be successful.

Jin also emphasizes the importance of prioritizing the interests of the majority over the wishes of the minority. He implied that "celebrity syndrome" was the real cause for concern, but BTS made sure to avoid this knowing it could disrupt their harmony.

Kpop has witnessed many failures of groups when one member's scandal can affect the whole group. Not only that, the division within the members also leads to the inactivity of K-pop groups for a long time.

In addition, Jin also reiterated that all seven members are careful not to do anything that could harm others. Furthermore, he's grateful that they align with his goals as it makes the group's plans for music and promotion more viable.

Specificially, hen mentioned: "It’s hard to maintain a team if there is a person who wants to do whatever he wants as he thinks he is successful. However, each one of us does not cross the line and concedes what he wants to do for the other members. I think that’s why we can maintain our team".

Even before that, Jin said that right now he doesn't have any other interests other than BTS members and ARMY. Jin has also repeated this many times before and so have the members.

Because they all put BTS before themselves, the members have weathered countless hardships in the past and will weather any storms together in the future. The upcoming time is also when BTS shows the power of their always thinking about a common goal.

This is not the first time BTS has talked about this. RM also mentioned that the members have many differences, but they always have one goal, which is what they started for. Therefore, whenever the members have different thoughts, they know how to harmonize with the common and long-term goals of the group.

In general, starting from trust will be the source to maintain a long-term relationship. Hopefully, in the next two years, trust will be a strong bond between ARMY and BTS.
