In less than an hour, Jin will release his first solo track - The Astronaut. The song is currently waiting for fans around the world because of its meaning.

A few minutes ago, Newsen and Big Hit released a short video as the announcement of Jin as a solo artist and his new album. During the interview, Jin shared many things around the new album and the role of BTS members for him.

BTS has long been known for nearly a decade of group activities and so the members' solo activities often surprise people. After j-hope, Jin is the next member of BTS to debut as a solo artist.

Today, Jin will release the song "The Astronaut" in anticipation of hundreds of thousands of people around the world. The song was also the last song that Jin released before his enlistment so it made ARMYs look forward to it more than ever.

Before the release of MV The Astronaut, Newsen and Big Hit posted an interview video in which Jin introduced the new song as well as shared a few words before releasing the MV. Jin shared his mixed feelings when releasing the song as a solo artist.

He said: "I've released songs to commemorate my birthday, public songs for fans, and solo songs from BTS' albums,but it's the first time my name is released, so I'm very nervous and excited. On the other hand, I'm excited to see how many people will listen to the song".

Not only that, but Jin also shared how he realized how important the members' roles were when he went through solo activities before he realized it. Jin shared: "I was able to feel the preciousness of the members once again while preparing a solo single."

The BTS members have talked a lot about how they value their time working together more than ever when they go solo. Through the members' sharing, it can be seen that BTS always gives a preference to group activities.

Even so, solo activities are now necessary for BTS 7 to be forever and the members are trying their best to do their best solo activities. Through the interview, Jin also expressed his hope that people will support and accept his new song. Jin expressed: "I made this with the hope that many people will like it as much as I prepared hard with the fans in mind, and I want you to feel happy while listening to this song."
