As previously announced, Jin has completed the procedure and is waiting for the government's call to enlist. At the beginning of this month, Korean media reported that Jin had submitted an application to cancel his military enlistment postponement application. According to some information, Jin may be called up to the army later this year.

However, according to Jin's latest share, it seems that the enlistment time is earlier than what netizens thought. He revealed to ARMY that his enlistment period may coincide with his birthday. So maybe Jin will start his military service in late November and early December.

Of course, ARMYs are heartbroken by this news. And it seems that Jin also knows that ARMYs will feel sad when he has to leave them temporarily for 2 years, so Jin has prepared a lot of content for ARMYs to enjoy when Jin enlists.

In addition to releasing a new album, Jin also actively participates in TV shows and creates his own program. Not only that, Jin did not forget to "appoint" a new member to fill the void in BTS and stay by ARMY's side until Jin completes his military service.

That's his new character Woodteo. This is a character inspired by the astronaut - also the theme of his album The Astronaut this time. Ever since Jin introduced Woodteo, ARMYs have loved the character for its cuteness.

Jin revealed the meaning of Woodteo that: "I wanted Wootteo to be a cute friend, who could stand by my fans on behalf of me. That's the role I wanted Wootteo to play. I'm very happy with Wootteo".

He must have thought about ARMY a lot and believes that when he created this character, he can give ARMY some comfort. Even when making merch Woodteo for ARMY, he carefully selected materials and demanded low cost to make ARMYs have the best experience with this adorable character.

Moreover, Jin even wrote a letter to Wootteo but it was actually something Jin wanted to say to himself and to ARMY. He wants us to have peace of mind and take good care of ourselves when he returns:

And Wootteo replied with: "Don’t get sick”
