Jin’s Jirisan OST Yours Removed From Spotify, Making ARMY Demand Answers

Jin's OST for tvN K-Drama Jirisan "Yours" is loved by many people and it has also brought Jin a lot of achievements on Spotify. However, just recently, ARMY discovered this OST disappeared from this music streaming platform. Some fans have reached out to Spotify's staff and received a negative response.

This is not good news when in the past few days BTS has been constantly facing false rumors. Jin's first solo OST - Yours was removed from Spotify near the 200th anniversary of its release.

On May 24, ARMYs noticed that "Yours" was unplayable in their Spotify playlists. Of course, they were extremely panicked and felt anxious. Many fans took to Twitter and many others saw the others meet the same situation. They wonder what happened to this OST.

When you open Jin's current Spotify profile, the only OST which is available to stream is a version of his duet "Even If I die, It's you" with V from K-Drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. Meanwhile, Yours with 67 million streams has completely disappeared.

To clarify the issue, ARMYs have repeatedly asked Spotify, Big Hit Music, and Korean drama production company Astory Entertainment to fix the problem. Not only that, some even trend the hashtag to get more attention.

Not only that, if you search Jirisan's OST on Spotify, the entire soundtrack has been removed from Spotify. Therefore, some ARMYs believe that Astory Entertainment is responsible for the OST's sudden disappearance from the music streaming service.

Additionally, a fan account of Jin (@thejinprlnt on Twitter) contacted staff from Spotify's customer service to inquire about the matter. Looks like the real problem is with Astory Entertainment. Not only that, the not-so-positive answer made ARMY even more worried.

Spotify has responded that they are not responsible for Jin's OST being removed. Instead, it was supposed to be deleted by the artist. It means Big Hit Music here because Jin's artist profile is run by the company. However, the OSTs of the movie Jirisan are in charge of Astory Entertainment. So it was Astory Entertainment who removed Yours and other OSTs.

In addition, when this ARMY asked if the OST would be re-uploaded after the OST was released, it would keep the pre-existing stream. Everyone knows that by the time Yours disappeared on Spotify, it had reached over 67 million streams.

A Spotify representative replied that even if the music label re-uploads the songs, previous streams will not be restored. That means Yours will return to the number of streams from 0. This makes many ARMYs feel regretful.

So they are trying to restore Jin's OST by making the trend "BRING BACK YOURS ON SPOTIFY". In addition, ARMY also tagged the mentioned music labels on Twitter so that they can quickly deal with this issue. A few hours ago, this trend was trending on Twitter with 10.3 thousand related tweets.
