Recently, it seems that BTS's beloved team BT21 is facing a lot of turmoil when there is the appearance of a new member - Wootteo. The person who seems to have the most jealousy right now is RJ - the son who is considered the most beloved by Jin.
Wootteo's appearance along with some of Jin's recent moves made ARMYs worried about RJ's status and so they asked Jin for an explanation. Jin soon gave a satisfactory answer:
For ARMY, the BT21 pet squad is as beloved as the members of BTS because they were created by the members themselves. Even Jin is very famous for always treating RJ specially like a rich kid.
RJ is seen as the brainchild that Jin loves very much. Jin even carries RJ with him everywhere he goes, from concerts to trips. Jin even reserved a seat for RJ on a private jet.
On another occasion, when Jin visited the LINE store in the US, he even wrote “My son, RJ” under the signature on the model RJ there. It can be said that RJ is really an honorable son that many people admire his status.
But it seems that recently, Jin was discovered not to be with his son much anymore. Instead, ARMYs discovered that Jin brought a new character with him on his trip to Argentina - Wootteo. This is the character created by Jin for his album The Astronaut this time.
Wootteo is known as the 8th member of BTS and replaced Jin during his military service. The image of an astronaut also makes many ARMYs love Woodteo. However, some also worry that Jin taking Wootteo with him on this trip will make RJ at home feel jealous.
So when Jin was walking on Weverse, an ARMY asked him: "I saw you bring Wootteo at the airport, but did you also bring your son RJ? Or do you leave it at home? Does RJ have the authority to bring Wootteo to Argentina? Please explain in case the child gets jealous".
This ARMY's frankness in demanding justice for RJ was praised by many as brave, but Jin's answer made ARMY rate him 100 points. Jin responded in a way that perhaps even RJ would be pleased to hear.
He wrote: "RJ is too busy now that he’s successful. Going to be with Wootteo for this album".
It is the ingenuity of a father, he divides his affection and popularity equally among his children. ARMY also clapped for his explanation:
