BTS has an incredible and admirable friendship over the past decade. They have always been by the side to support, show respect and care for each other to develop together to succeed as they are now.

However, BTS has always had a great secret in preserving their friendship. Not just by keeping in touch or through texting or calling, they choose other ways of communication and this makes their friendship much stronger.

Here's Jin's revelation about why the members rarely call each other and how they keep in touch:

At the present time, phones or online calling applications have become the most perfect connection tool for everyone to contact relatives, family or friends. Not only that, it also makes it possible for people to chat on a regular basis. Most of the texting through chat groups is common among young people.

Like most friend groups, BTS also has a private group chat where members can talk to each other. BTS has also revealed that Jin and Jimin are the fastest to respond to a conversation while j-hope and V may be some of the slower responding members.

In a recent interview with GQ, Jin even admitted that even when there is a group chat, the BTS members don't even use it often. That's when Jin was asked to choose his 10 essentials, he didn't choose his phone to text or contact the members.

He also revealed that BTS does not use this method to communicate with each other. And the reason he gave was really undeniable: "We don’t really text or call each other. Out of 365 days in the year, the BTS members and I see each other probably 360 days. Because there’s a lot of things we do."

Yes, BTS is busy all year round with group activities and they constantly meet for plans. Therefore, it is not uncommon for members to meet face-to-face rather than contact by phone. This is also not the first time Jin has talked about this, previously in a livestream, Jin and RM talked about how they met for almost a year.

What's even better is that the members even spend their little free time doing some relaxing things together. Jin shared that he took j-hope to play tennis with him. He also revealed that many of the members used to play games together: "I had dinner with j-hope, and I had plans to play tennis afterwards. I said to j-hope, ‘Since you know how to play tennis, do you want to come with me to go play with my friends?‘ So I made him come with me."

He also continued that: "About a year or year and a half ago, three or four of us would game together. We would play a game during our work schedule. We’d play a game when we were out. We’d play a game at home. There was a time like that."

Even Jin's phone case is "made of BTS stuff", showing how much the members care for each other. It can be seen that they are linked not only by a working relationship but also by a close friendship. That's why they have been friends for more than a decade.

Besides, Jin also chooses some important things when he uses the phone. In particular, Jin emphasized, he uses his phone "like air, like oxygen to [him]," for apps like YouTube or Webtoon.

He said that: "My favorite app is YouTube, like a lot of people nowadays. And in the Korean market, Webtoons have developed a lot".

He also frequently uses his phone to research things on the internet, such as when he has a question about one of the many games he plays. Jin revealed: "Then in second place for me is the internet. Because I game a lot. There’s a lot I need to look up."

Turns out, Jin also has the same hobby as other ordinary young people when watching movies or entertainment programs on Youtube and Webtoon. And of course, the internet used for his game search is no exception. It's nice to be able to see how Jin uses his phone.
