Since becoming the first BTS member to be discharged from the military in June this year, Jin has been actively participating in activities such as participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics torch relay and appearing on entertainment television. He released his first solo album on the 15th and returned to fans with a new album after a long time.
But that's not all, fans have noticed many signs that he is preparing many projects for ARMYs in the near future, filling the gap of his military service. Some speculations also suggest that a concert may be one of his plans for next year.
However, in Stationhead Listening Party, Jin clarified this, stating that he wanted to but couldn't and revealed the reason:
When releasing his solo album "Happy", Jin shared: "I was worried about what kind of music I should give to ARMY. I am someone who can only be happy when ARMY is happy. I concluded that I should make an album that can make you all happy."
Along with releasing sweet songs that heal the hearts of fans, Jin held a two-day fan showcase. This was the first time Jin introduced his music product completely and directly on stage. Over the two days, 3,800 ARMY filled Jangchung Gymnasium, Seoul and millions of fans watched online, enjoying the happiness together.
After the success of the showcase, fans held hopes that Jin would continue to hold concerts or even tour around the world. Before him, some members have done this like SUGA with 'SUGA | Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' or Jungkook with a solo concert 'GOLDEN Live On Stage'.
But it seems that fans will have to wait a while longer until Jin gathers enough "number of songs" that he wants for a concert. BTS's eldest brother expressed his desire to hold a concert but has not been able to do so and the reason for this during the Stationhead Listening Party broadcast.
Accordingly, Jin said: "Concert? I want to do it, but I don’t have enough songs, usually concerts need around 20 songs. But I wanted to perform, that’s why I did showcases. I need to maybe make a “full length “album. But I don’t have enough time, if I try to make one, the other members would be out by then. It takes time to select songs and other things to make an album. So I do want to do concert and perform, but there’s just not enough time."
Before Jin's sharing, many fans felt sad because he did not have much time to make choices. Meanwhile, some others said that as long as Jin appeared, any event was happiness for them:
