The BTS project was formed in 2010 by Big Hit Entertainment. The group officially debuted in 2013. It means the BTS members have been active as a group for about 15 years.
It is difficult for a Kpop group to maintain its lineup from the very beginning and its success for more than a decade. BTS is almost the only group to achieve this, making everyone admire them a lot.

When MC Lee Mu Jin mentioned that BTS has entered its 12th year since debut and he wanted to know what Jin's goals are for the future, BTS's eldest brother shared the vision and plans that he and the BTS members have agreed on for the next 10, 20, 30 years, making fans emotional.
"The members and I talk this often. We'd like to be on stage until we can't move. We'll each have our life but we'll also go on stage together. And if we have our own family, we can bring them and go perform together. We're talking about 10, 20, 30 years from now. I want to be on stage when I'm 50", he expressed.
Jin's statement at that time was like a firm affirmation that BTS will reunite when the 7 members complete their military service in June this year. He also showed the members' strong desire to continue group activities when they are ready to perform in front of fans.
Even when the members have their own families, they still want to stand on stage as the BTS 7 of their youth. This reminds me of RM's statement that they will still be "Bangtan" when they become "papa" in an old interview.
In Beyond The Story, the BTS leader also mentioned that the members want to achieve the ideal image of an idol group even when they are in their thirties. Working separately as a solo artist is to open the next chapter of the group in a special way.
Recently, when talking about this, j-hope also could not hide his excitement for the moment BTS reunites after all the members have had their own solo experiences. "I myself am wondering what the energy will be like once we’re back together. What will be different is that we will each have had solo experiences before coming back together as a team", he mentioned.
