Jin's first solo album 'Happy', released on the 15th, is receiving positive reviews from fans and media at home and abroad. In particular, the title track 'Running Wild' has captured the hearts of fans who remember the special message of love he conveyed.
Not only that, these days, people have also praised Jin for his acting ability that is no different from an action star through the drifting scene revealed behind the scenes. However, recently, he spoke up about this scene and revealed the truth to fans.
A few surprises happened compared to ARMYs' predictions, but in the end, fans still couldn't help but admire his ability:
According to reports, the title track of Jin's solo album, 'Running Wild', topped the iTunes 'Top Song' chart in 70 countries on the 16th of this month. In the following days, the song's rankings continued to maintain and increase in many other countries, showing its success.
Running Wild continued to show its unique musical color, sweet voice and meaningful message that Jin put all his heart into sending to ARMYs. In addition, Jin's comeback this time with beautiful action scenes and magnificent settings surprised fans. The entire MV is like a short action movie, and many fans even said that it brings the experience of Fast & Furious.
Notably, a few days after Running Wild was released, director Lumpens shared a behind-the-scenes video, recording the drifting scene. At first, many fans thought that the person who performed this driving scene like a professional racer was Jin and couldn't stop admiring his sкιℓℓs.
However, later, in Stationhead Listening Party, Jin clarified the truth about this scene!
He didn't hesitate to mention that: "I see many comments about my drifting, but I just wanna say that the exact drifting part wasn't done by me, but a stuntman! I sure did the swerving and all, but not the drifting, I think you guys misunderstood cause of my past driving video, I don't know to drift". He continued: "If I had done the drifting by myself, what if they told me off that I broke the car or soмєтнing, plus I don't really know to do drift, I only did the swerving".
It turns out that Jin wasn't the one who did the drifting scene in the video that Lumpens shared. Obviously, that scene was a very difficult one and a stuntman would have been safer in that situation. But he also surprised fans by doing all the swerving and driving scenes in the MV.
Previously, when participating in Lee Mujin Service, Jin shared this memorable memory during the filming process. Jin said that the crew had applied for a permit to use an entire street in Los Angeles (USA) for a scene. Although the MV director only wanted him to pretend to drive fast but he went on driving like he's on GTA( a kind of action-adventure video game series). He even got the director fearing for his life. It shows how good a driver he is!
One more thing that fans admire about Jin is that he never lets false rumors surround him. So they love him even more after his sharing:
- Sir the swerving doesn't look easy either, so yes you're still gonna be the best driver
- what about Fast & Furious account that thought Jin was drifting. Let’s stay in denial, they should cast Jin
- The swerving looked scarier to me
- Makes him even hotter being such an honest man.
- I’m so glad he doesn’t let false info get by him!
- Okay, that makes a lot more sense. I was really confused bc it would have been such a risk to have him do it, insurances alone would've never let that happen, BigHit neither. So I was pretty sure that he didn't do the drift, but obv also didn't want to doubt his abilities
- either way jin in a car makes me feel some typa way
- He isn't fake like many pplsso he cleared it
- aha he swerved but did not drift ㅋㅋ jin is still the coolest
- He's precious. He didn't sign up for stunts. Risky.
