Jay Park Responded To Criticism After Posting Photo Of His Meetup With Jungkook

Recently, the meeting of Jungkook and Jay Park in a recording studio caused an explosion of social networks. However, in addition to the attention that a new collaboration is about to be born, for example, Jay Park's past is dug up and causes him to receive a lot of criticism.

On April 19, Jay Park posted two photos of himself taken with Jungkook on his Twitter and Instagram accounts. In the two photos, they was even posing in the recording studio, sparking speculation regarding their collaboration. On Instagram, Jay Park posted a photo with Jungkook with the line that: "Even though he’s at the top, he has a growth mindset and and he’s humble. What a stud… Plus he’s good at boxing…
After i met Jk i can definitely can see why they get so much love. Humble, [ambitious] and talented ??????"

Meanwhile, on Twitter, he also posted a close-up photo with a different caption, but the same content is praising BTS's maknae: "Bro is super humble ambitious and talented. Can definitely see why they get so much love ???? JK is a dope genuine person". He complimented Jungkook on everything from his mindset and humility to his talent and boxing.

Jungkook also retweeted Jay Park's post on his own Instagram account, adding a fire emoji. This makes ARMYs and netizens even more excited and looking forward to their collaboration!

After the photo was posted, Jungkook and Jay Park trended on Twitter in more than 59 countries.

However, a part of international ARMY did not show such eagerness or joy, but instead criticized Jay Park. Many people think that Jay Park acted "hypocritical" because previously in a song he composed called K-Pop "manufactured" and "inauthentic", now using famous idols to attract great attention.

For those who don't know, Jay Park originally debuted as the leader of the idol group 2PM. After that, he left JYP Entertainment to have a solo career and eventually set up a business.

Some annoyed ARMY even edited photos, removed Jay Park from Jungkook's group…

… And replace him with other K-Pop idols, like ENHYPEN's Jay.

Meanwhile, some have come up with interesting theories such as Jungkook visiting GOT7's Yugyeom because they are good friends. And since Yugeom is currently under contract with the company AOMG founded by Jay Park, he met Park that way.

After that, their meeting tended to be along with “#jkhostagesituation”, implying Jungkook was taken hostage and that was the only way he could take a picture with Jay Park to get out of there. It's also funny!

When discovering this hashtag, Jay Park didn't have any backlash or shame on ARMY. Instead of responding to the hate with hate, he posted a candid tweet filled with positivity and "love", which included heart emojis of different colors along with the hashtag " #jkhostagesituation” shows he knows about the incident. He wrote: "hope everyone keeps safe and healthy. peace and love to all humans ❤️????????#jkhostagesituation"

This is not the first time Jay Park has received a lot of criticism after hanging out with K-Pop idols. Previously, he and ATEEZ's Mingi also trended for the same reason. In such a case, it is also difficult to judge whether Jay Park has bad intentions or good intentions!
