Previously, on December 5, ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾an media reported loudly that V would play the main character in IU's new song MV. It is part of the female singer's new album with the goal of release in the first half of next year. Although the exact release date of the music product has not yet been determined, because V will enlist in the army on December 11, filming of the MV was quickly carried out in advance after considering his schedule.

Moreover, on December 14, W ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a also clarified that V will appear in "a movie rather than a music video" of IU. This news quickly made fans look forward and curious about this collaboration project of the two actors - idols. Specifically, IU's EDAM Entertainment made a statement when conducting an interview with W ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a: "It's not a music video, it's a movie".

Along with that, W ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a also added that it will be interesting to see Kim Taehyung and IU share the same frame as well as the aesthetic they will bring with their outstanding visual and soulful vocals. The article mentioned: "Good news amidst the disappointment! Although all BTS members are on m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ leave, we can meet V in the first half of next year. It's through IU's new song. It is said that right before enlistment, V filmed the music video for IU's new song, which will be released for the first time in about two years. It's already driving me crazy to see what kind of scene these two musicians, who stand out and shine so brightly even when alone, would create."
