As fans already know, IU is not only a close friend of SUGA but also maintains friendships with other BTS members such as j-hope and, most notably, V. Their relationship is so close that it has surprised many people over the years. V appeared on IU's show IU's Palette, and fans later discovered that the two had even gone out for a fine-dining meal together with actor Yim Seulong and actress Shin Se-kyung.

Their close friendship eventually led to a remarkable collaboration in 2024 when IU released the music video for Love Wins All. The project received an overwhelmingly positive response, debuting at No. 1 on South кσяєα's Circle Digital Chart, becoming the first song of 2024 to achieve a Perfect All-Kill (PAK), and earning eight music show trophies. Internationally, Love Wins All also enjoyed major success, charting on prestigious rankings such as the Billboard Global 200 at No. 25 and the נαραи Hot 100 at No. 80.

What made the song particularly memorable for fans, however, was the undeniable chemistry between its two leads. There is no denying that V and IU's acting abilities brought an emotional depth to the music video, delivering scenes that resonated deeply with viewers. Their performance was so convincing that many fans began hoping the two would one day appear together in a feature film.

Surprisingly, however, IU once revealed that she felt "uncomfortable" around V after the project! Specifically, in an episode of IU TV, IU confessed that although they interacted very comfortably with one another, she could not help but feel "uncomfortable" knowing that she owed V so much because of the demanding filming schedule for the music video.

The singer then provided more context, explaining that the music video was filmed on the outskirts of Seoul, South кσяєα. The production took place in locations resembling a forest and an abandoned building in order to create the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic world. Filming lasted for three days, and the first two days were especially difficult for the cast. As a result, on the morning of the third day, IU revealed on camera that she had actually called V because she was worried he might quit the shoot halfway through. She shared, "As soon as I woke up this morning, I checked on V. [I asked him] ‘You didn’t go to Seoul, did you?’".

Because the previous day's schedule was too stressful, she said that she would understand if he decided to give up filming the MV. She added: "Even if V said he went back to Seoul, no one would have blamed him. Because we put him through so much trouble yesterday that it’ll be inhuman to blame him for that". In particular, she emphasized: "How can I repay him? After this shoot I think I’ll be uncomfortable around V."

In the end, the singer praised him for his kindness and perseverance: "He’s so kind. He’s back at the site today" and the two ended with an even closer relationship with one another. 

Even while working under an extremely tight schedule and filming in challenging conditions, V completed every scene with remarkable professionalism. Not only that, but at the time he was also preparing for his military enlistment, yet he never hesitated to help his close friend complete the music video. Now, it makes sense why V is regarded as such a beloved and respected friend by so many people around him.
