BTS has recently been the center of attention after being caught up in baseless rumors related to d̾r̾u̾g scandals and prσstítutíσn establishments. This comes from the statement of the CEO of 가로세로연구소.

Not only did this person spread rumors that some BTS members regularly visited this adult facility, but this person also repeatedly affirmed that it was true and challenged ARMY and HYBE to take lєgαl measures against him. Responding to the "challenge" from CEO Kim, HYBE has released the latest statement and is preparing for the process of handling those who defame BTS.

Below is what HYBE just announced a few minutes ago regarding the complicated incident in recent days:

On October 28, HYBE, on behalf of the BTS members, suddenly issued a follow-up statement regarding bad rumors related to the group. In an interview with Yonhap News, HYBE representative shared: "The rumors raised by some about our artists and a specific location (referring to an entertainment venue in downtown Seoul where ilℓєgαℓ substances were allegedly taken) are completely untrue. BTS members are not aware of the location and have never visited it (the infamous bar)."

As the rumor spread more and more widely, it caused confusion among fans as well as seriously affected BTS's reputation. This caused HYBE to once again speak up to correct the incident and put an end to these baseless rumors. HYBE's policy is to respond zero tolerance to rumors about d̾r̾u̾gs or prσstítutíσn surrounding BTS members.

They stated that: "HYBE has zero tolerance for spreading false information and defamation, and is taking civil and criminal ℓєgαℓ action. We have already initiated ℓєgαℓ action against those who spread false information about our artists."

This move by HYBE is said to be a response to the challenge of CEO Kim and the Youtube channel with 800,000 followers recently. On the 27th of this month, CEO Kim did a live broadcast in which he mentioned: "BTS members also come here often. I can't say who they are, but they are two of the people who haven't served in the army". He even emphasized, "I know who these two people are, but I'm not talking about them today. First of all, those two people do not include j-hope and Jin. Of these remaining 5 people, there are 2 people who are regular customers of bar G. You may go to G once or twice, but the problem is that they are regular customers. They are VIPs."

Previously, on October 26th, CEO Kim is the one making the same accusation and spread it. At that time, this allegation was quickly denied by HYBE saying: "BTS are completely unrelated to the rumors, and they're not true at all. We'll respond strongly to the reckless spread of rumors." 

But even as HYBE spoke up, CEO Kim also declared defiantly that he was not afraid of facing other things but was only worried about revealing the truth about BTS. He said during the broadcast: "I never said who I was. I can go to G bar because I'm still single. But why am I so worried? BTS are also regular customers visiting Lee Sun Kyun's bar. Meanwhile, ARMY (fan club) said they would hunt down (the person providing the rumor) but I'm not afraid at all."

Meanwhile, when talking about HYBE's statement countering his rumors, CEO Kim pointed out that HYBE only made a statement that they would take strong action against 'd̾r̾u̾g rumors' and not rumors regarding ad*lt establishments. CEO Kim said: "We never talked about d̾r̾u̾gs. I said that 2 of the BTS members regularly went to the ad*lt facility where Lee Sun Kyun and GD used d̾r̾u̾gs. I never said that a BTS member used d̾r̾u̾gs. Why did you (HYBE) answer? It's doubtful."

Finally in his livestream, CEO Kim released an exterior photo of G bar - the place that is the center of attention and even hinted: "I don't think people there often take photos of celebrities and VIP guests. Judge for yourself". This is said to reaffirm the rumor that BTS is a regular customer of the nightclub.

While HYBE wants to protect BTS's reputation and end this rumor, CEO Kim constantly attacks the group but does not provide clear evidence and only causes more confusion for fans.
